I don’t think he got her sarcasm about his “mausaness”. I think he only heard her say “ Abhir ki maa tumhe Baap banne nhi degi” and that’s in his head. He can process only one thought at a time itna bada dhakka jo laga hai! 🤣

I think he is right in stopping the US trip it’s too risky for baby - Akshara may have understood subconsciously that Aarohi is behind Abhi’s unavailability ( Roohi school, park whatever) but now that Abhi is after his son, she may feel Abhir is in safe hands and relent for the surgery. Let’s see.
