Didn’t he say that in context of keeping them safe because Zubair is such a creep. I mean Murtasim is a feudal lord and part of a problematic system. I think that part is clear. He tries to find loopholes though so he can keep his image as a strong feudal lord while not completely oppressing people. Whatever the context may be, he should not have involved women. His intentions were not wrong but it leaves a bad taste when he involves women. He has this feudal thinking because he was brought up like that. He can not take it when a woman questions his decision in panchayat. He believed in izzat k badle izzat. He is capable of killing a person. Yes, he felt bad about his decision. When he forgave Mallik Zubair, in return Mallik Mukhtar told that he will end the enmity. But the problem is Mallik Zubair, he wants to take revenge on Murtasim. Even if he forgave Mallik Zubair, he should have been careful, even Anwar warned him if I am not wrong. Forgiving is good in a human level and also in this case it ended the enmity between both the families but the problem was that he did not keep a check on Mallik Zubair.

In Naila's matter, at least we could have got Murtasim thinking about Meerab's words and realized that she was right and it was not right to involve woman in fights. In that way she could have brought a little change in his feudal mindset. The accident overtook Naila's track and Murtasim became Meerab's saviour by bringing her back.

And also in village he said 'tumhari khaandaan ki tho saari auraton ko mere pass aa jaana chahiye." Why does he involve woman in fights?

Murtasim takes Meerab lightly when she talks about serious matter, like in Haya's case he was too casual.

I think Mariyam will get married to Naurez after Meerab, Murtasim and Mariyam discovers about Anas's real identity.

And in the interview the writer said what is wrong if I gave a little supremacy to a man?

Mariyam should not be forced to marry Naurez even after Anas’s truth is revealed. She would needs lots of time to heal, before she starts trusting anyone again.


In fact, she should marry anyone before her heart heals. There is no point in being in marriage like her brother’s.

Things would actually start hurting Naurez more, who is not at fault for anything that happened with her.

Here we dont get to see meerab’s point of view and thats whats the main issue is. I think i understand meerab because i can relate to her and what she is going through…

Kashaf was not forced , marring Zaroon was her choice , hot tea or cold coffee doesn’t matter so she had choice and she choose him.

For Meerab ,she has become cold and numb with her trauma and she needs to snap out of it to see his love. Once she is out there is no stopping her!

Both in case of naila and mariyam she is fighting for her herself, her lost cause nothing else like u said , living thru it maybe the turn of events will trigger something!

No matter how frustrated we might be with either one of them ultimate goal/dream/vision/desire is Meerab and Murtuasim together and happy.
