Like in the nikaah document (which is a legal document), there is a clause which gives the woman the right to divorce as per the law (as in she can say to the man I give talak verbally and it is considered valid in law) but all maulvis make families cut it out at nikaah time - unless the family is really adamant that it stays in. This is mentioned in Kuch Ankahi also.
