I think they will tie it up with his backstory !
That he always liked her but knew well she won’t fit in his life and family so never acted upon his feelings consciously. Him refusing to marry her was mainly because he knew it would be huge blow for her , given his family system!

But sub consciously she triggers every emotion out of him- Birthday 🥳 , her lathi charge, first accident, her break down when her truth comes out!
Even at dargha too he gets worried when he doesn’t find her and both terrace scenes he is worked up seeing her there!

Strange the same guy would ask her to jump for some illogical reason and for rohails trashy romance .What even was team thinking when they added this worthless scene! Absolute morons.
