The contract is a matter of ego for him now. It’s not just sexual gratification that he wants. He wants her trust and her love and the contract is the living example that she didn’t want him and didn’t trust him. So he needs her to tear it.

For her, it’s becoming an inconvenience because now she knows that he won’t touch her w/o her consent but she now bears the responsibility to tear it and her ego will not allow her to do so. So I think she was kinda angry when he put it back together.

@bold- Diyar e dil had a similar scenario where FL doesn’t want the nikkah. When she falls for him, the ML ensures that he creates situations that she gets frustrated and finally screams out that she loves him. He is like until she says I love you I won’t give in..
