They butchered all these characters for nav entry .

Exactly. And they butchered Abhi the most.

He was an intelligent, smart doctor who was vocal about right and wrong.

So much I loved his character in thr the starting despite his shortcomings. There was a lot of scope for growth.

But I feel he went backwards.
