I think this drama is for purely entertainment purpose and can be watched again and again, not every story needs to be perfect.

Did u ever think meerab will put so much resistance and MK will put in so much effort ? It was quite surprising for me as I was expecting both of them will fight each other like how usually it happens in all such stories ! Then some twist and both will fall for each other !
My take on murtasim behavior is that all this time, his plan or his solution to their marriage as said in episode 20 was to love the other person so much and the other person has no choice but to surrender to his love. But now after the whole rohail storyline, and recently meerab constantly talking about love, isqh, jan de dena.. he is having doubts on that solution. This is why he asks her tum kush ho. He never asked this before..
He is realizing that despite his love she is not happy. And in yesterday’s episode he even says why marry someone if you cant keep them happy.
Maybe the reason for him being cold as many mentioned is this realization. And this will further deepen when he will see his sister crying in the coming episodes..
We see bts that meerab will meet saba and rohail.. this will for sure anger murtasim and create MU and this time he may ask her to leave but this is where meerab realizes her “love” and rips the contract.. but remember murtasim’s word, that night you will cry a lot!!!

I feel bad for MB. She raised two girls in the utmost strictness. She never allowed to go out with their girl friend. She thinks they are in her control. She thinks she is Managing girls very well. But she has no idea, what her dear daughters are doing under her nose.
