Sai's dialogues can 100% be better written but her sentiments, her decisions are imo logical and sensible. She is right in giving Vinu up for now to avoid losing what she has and everything she can have in future with Vinu. she is right in taking Savi with her now and getting Savi back into the usual routine- just with 2 homes this time until she is old enough to understand why there are 2 homes and why a man cannot have 2 wives. She is right in asking V to deal with his and Ps issues without involving her. If he wants to divorce P it should be because he wants to separate, not for anyone else. And the first person to talk to should be P and then Vinu and his family. If he is divorcing only to be with Sai then tomorrow he is very likely to flip back too. He has only done it like FOREVER. His track record is there for all to see. P has been in their midst since day 1 so Sai is not foolish to believe his claims that he has nothing to do with her. If V plans to convince Sai with manhandling and imprisonment like this of how committed he is, then he is scaring her into a corner and she will also become desperate to break away for good and make herself unavailable. Despite that Sai now is not teenager Sai. Even in impulse she takes more thought out decisions than V ever would and she has the guts and gumption to stick to the road chosen.

V's reactions will soon affirm why Sai is right to flee. He will very likely do one or more of the following-

- insult SaiYa for having an "affair behind his back" - even though they are both 2 consensual adults who can do whatever the F they please and Sai isnt his wife for a long time now.

- continue his psycho behavior while not being able to divorce P or convince Vinu. Status quo will be maintained but just that he will continue the Sai blame and self pity party. That oh, Sai always MU me and I am so sad, I am so bechaara.

- the namesake wife he wanted to divorce will be the one he confides in and once again becomes BFF with and then decides to move on with P again

- the other extreme is him becoming fake devdas for a while to manipulate everyone. that oh he took Sai's rejection so hard that now he is drunk, unemployed, psycho and maybe doing self harm or stalking Sai and manhandling her

Basically he has no healthy or sane way of coping with things. Just manipulates everyone around him masterfully, gaslights them and gets away with it all.

In itv feminism, morals, ethics, domestic abuse, compatibility, trust, love, self respect ka sab achaar banta hai. I don’t know where gyaan wala thing originated from but it proves what makers said - that audience don’t separate reel from real.
