If she really had this level of ability toh story par itne continuity issue nah hote, love story ko log tragic story nah kehte, main leads ko leke itni fighting nahi hotey. Murtu vs meerub na hotey ! As its a love stroy....! Meerasim hone the bas, meerasim vs baki sab hone they (like haya) ,

but ab murtu vs meerub jeyada ho rahey!!!

Meerab clearly says aj kal Ishq vishq kaha hota hai. Which means she doesn't trust anyone can have Ishq on her. She doesn't think murtasim has Ishq on her. When he is not in the list, then rohail is out of the context.

So him thinking about rohail is odd especially when she was ready to jump.

Instead of jump stunt, he could have stayed aloof with her by stating what hurted him the most.

I said this an earlier post so repeating now. I feel Murtasim got triggered in his conversation with Merub about mohabbat main jaan dena.

Merub: "Murtasi tum, tum bhi to mujhse mohabbat ka daawa karte ho."

IMO, the tum bhi triggers Murtasim. To him, Merub is implying that like Rohail, you also claim to love me. For Murtasim, to have his love be put at par with Rohail's, or be compared to it, is deeply offensive. If you recall, in E28, he really got violent with Rohail when he said that he loves Merub.

Once the tum bhi line is uttered, Merub's next question mujh se itni mohabbat karte ho keh mere liye apni jaan dedo? is tainted in Murtasim's eyes. He was earlier asking her what prompted you to ask this question. In his mind, the tum bhi associated the jaan lena question to her trying to pitch his love against Rohail's which is unacceptable to him.

What he means:

Naureeez doesn't know her. He just maybe saw her picture or her and liked her. Her as in Maryam.

That liking is better as it is genuine and atleast has a chance to stay in heart while people who were in someone's heart, when they come out of it there nothing left. This was deep.

There is only one reason to say this. This was so hurtful. This murtasim is scary. He's not the loving murtasim from episode 11 onwards but not us he the person from episode 1-6.

His eyes were a little indifferent today 😔

And indifference is always much more absolute and scary than anger. He's really hurt.

He will never stop loving her.. that we all know.. but at one point his anger will overpower his love. He will eventually regret it but it will be too late? Or the damage would already be done.. 🤷‍♀️
