She gave valid reason that Mariyam is a person and she has her choice. And also she explained very well during the tea scene about their situation and also told that she doesn't want others to be in a situation like them.

I have to examine the episode again to understand Meerab and defend her. But she seemed off in every scene, it was like she didn't know which role to play when, saying things she shouldn't have said hurting him to achieve what. She is not a cruel person so what the hell was that.

When she wanted answers like a friend, she reacted like a clueless wife

When she needed to be a wise confidante, she is mixing up sincerity with flirting diminishing her own power

Where she needed to show patience, she was being a obstinate begum

Yeah, everything she said was true and she wasn’t trying to hurt him, she was trying to talk clearly with him, but he was hurt anyway because of the bitter truth it reflected. I think it turns from hurt because of defeat (given the situation of forced marriage, which she keeps reminding him about) to maybe hurt/anger when he starts to think that maybe she is bringing up things because of her lingering interest in Rohail. He doesn’t know what it is. Meerab not loving him because of her forced marriage circumstances is different than her not loving him b/c of a guy. In the last few episodes, he has also been going from caring, to aloof/indifferent, to anger/bitter dialogues, and I think he is confused as well. What is the reason why she won’t fall for him. Rohail? Or just her loss of freedom/forced marriage.

There is nothing to ponder upon,justify or think about.
