I consider yumna to be in the same league as sajal and saba and her doing a half baked drama with such a badly written character disappointed me a lot. I would have had the same disappointment if sajal was meerab. Forget sajal, I would have been disappointed if it was maya Ali or Mahira who might not be as good actors as the formers but have good star power. What's more disappointing is yumna justifying the drama and saying she does it for the awaam. So for whom does she do other dramas? Woh bhi toh awaam hi dekhte hai na. Not international Film festival Wale critics. I can understand durre doing ktk but no amount of justification can make me understand yumna doing TB.

This is how I exactly felt as the show went on. Initially I was like thik hai, you want to do it for the masses, basically want to be on a show where you dress pretty and don’t have much intense role. I get it, I understand. But as the show continued, it just made me angry. She really really disappointed me with this show.

And let me tell you after all the popularity I have seen, this writer is going to get many more offers. What makes me sad is writers like Saima Chaudhry want to take a break becos they feel that execution of their writing is lacking and people like TB writers will get more chances.

when people write long long articles about how Pak serials like TB have become so popular in India, because of falana dimka…I am like hello, they have become popular because they ARE like indian shows in limited episodes…TB is the perfect combo of Ekta and Gul Khan….rabid fans ko aur kya chahiye?!

I found navya to be overrated. It started off good but then i dropped it after a couple of months. Yes it did had good background music.

I will always appreciate kyy for the fact that no amount of third person couple bring any big misunderstanding between manik and nandini and there was no separation because of a third person. Their relationship only grew stronger. Their relationship was based on trust and that was intact till the end. They also showed a track on how heartbroken manik was when nandini's trust in him fluctuated for a second and nandini wasn't wrong for having that doubt.

It's natural. The more popular he gets the more toxic fans he gain. His wife and his daughter will be judged more and he might not want to give unnecessary spotlight to his family. Maya is already from the showbiz and from what i know she has experience in handling toxicity from people. So both of them are very open about how close they are as friends.

I am really happy that Wahaj is keeping his daughter away from all this,she doesnt deserve to be exposed in btwn those toxic fandom.He has gained vast popularity now and it is really wise of him to keep his family away from the social media.Just imagine him posting a pic with his wife and how brutal the reaction would be,the fans will not stay away from commenting on her look and how bad she looks with Wahaj and he deserves better yada yada..Toxic fandom is a real curse.

I don't mind actors experimenting with unique projects and then failing to grab the attention. It's okay. That's what I call trying something new and challenging yourself. Not choosing a masala show and justifying it by saying it's something new. TB is everything that a super popular itv romance has in it. It's a tried and tested successful formula. Nothing new or experiment or challenging about it.

That's why i am not very harsh with dramas like kuch ankahi and yunhi. It's clear that the intention of these dramas was to show something new and not to make easy money by selling subpar product in a glossy cover. Yunhi fails in a lot of category but i don't blame the actors for choosing the project. Kuch ankahi except for being slow and having a lot of characters i cannot find any flaw in it. Even after having so many characters the writer was successful in giving a personality to every single one of them. Even the decisions that comes off as wrong to us is understandable like samiya choosing to marry saif, shammo being so adamant at getting samiya married, aagaji's stubbornness with the property etc. We cannot say that any of those characters are not real. Even asfar and shagufta who are among the darker characters have a personality and aren't one dimensional like behaya or rohail or junior mallik. There is depth to every single character and there are so many characters. TB don't even have half the number of characters as KA and failed miserably to give any depth to any characters. They failed to give proper characterisation to their FL itself so what can we say about other characters. It looks like behaya and murtu are the most important characters in the show.

Writers like Saima sees writing and dramas as an art form and the writer of TB clearly only cares about popularity and fame.

Sana is the easiest guss and i don't think it's her because everyone knows about her and he wouldn't have a problem naming her.
