Part :21
Rajaji burst into the room with a huge grin on his face. he was accompanied by CR. Rajaji was very happy and he wanted to share his happiness with his beloved wife. BR was his life and he could not bear to see her unhappy at all. BR was the source of most of his happiness and he had fond memories of their relationship. Rajaji consulted many top doctors from around the world but no one seemed to have a cure for his beloved BR. He would trade all his wealth or precious assets only to see BR well again. BR's condition was the cause of much sorrow in his life lately.
CR was jealous of Rajaji's affection for BR. Even with BR paralyzed, Rajaji came to visit her daily and showed his concern over BR's health. CR wished that BR never recovered her health. CR knows that when BR is cured, she will be relegated to second favorite of the King and her prestige in the house will be diminished. CR was constantly scheming to build her advantage and win the attention of the King.
Rajaji loved his son Yudi a lot. Yudi was the apple of his eyes. Rajaji had high expectations of Yudi who could do no wrong. According to the king, Kunvar Yudhisthir has all the qualities of a benevolent king. The way Yudi has taken all the responsibility regarding business and charity works was commendable. In such a young age he was managing all the responsibility of the palace, the royal traditions and business responsibilities with great maturity and grace.
As a father, Rajaji had always ensured Yudi's happiness. Today, the king was sure, that Yudi would be delighted to hear that his wedding date has been decided. Yudi had himself given consent for this joyous occasion.
When Rajaji saw Yudi present in BR's room "Rajaji ki khushi ki koi charan seema nahi rahi "
Rajaji: kunvar hum aaj bahut khush hai ……………….aur aap sab ke saath humari ye khushi baatna chaahte hai. Lekin BR to so gayi hai to chaliye hum sub bahaar jaake baat karte hai. Unki neend nahi tutni chaahiye. Unse hum subaha baat karenge.
There was no other option for Yudi except to follow his dad's instruction. His plan to see Rani would have to wait.[yaad aa rahi hain, teri yaad aa rahi hain…yaad aane se, tujhe na mil pane se, meri jaan jaa rahi hain]. He can see that his dad was very happy. Yudi was trying to appear interested in his fathers happiness from the outside but his mind was thinking about what he would say to Rani when he met her.
He wondered what Rani was feeling at this time. He knew that Rani must be in a dazed and confused condition. He was helpless too. The destiny of his love story appears to be slipping from his grip. The moment he decides to take any action to shape his own future, the irony of life's unpredictable turns messes up everything.
When he reached the living room outside, his eyes were looking around, half hoping to find the woman of his dreams standing quietly in a corner of the room. This room he knew like the back of his hand, all his life growing up seemed totally alien today. A sudden sense of emptiness engulfed him. The room was beautifully adorned with the best of furniture money can buy, exquisite paintings hung in huge frames attached to the massive 16 feet high walls, Itni saari chize uski shobhaa badhaa rahi thi phir bhi oose aaj ye kamara apne dil ki taraha khali lag rahaa thaa .
The huge tall and strong pillars, giving support to the grand balcony gave him the feeling that he too need some support to help him take some decisions. The luxurious white leather sofas were inviting him to sit down and rest for a while. He felt exhausted trying to pick between his feelings for rani and the respect for his family.
Rajaji's excited voice broke his thoughts.
Rajaji: kunvar jaise humne kahaa aaj hum bahut khush hai. humaare paas do khabare hai aapko dene ke liye. Boliye kaunsi khabar aapko pahele sunaayi jaye.
CR: wahi khabar jisko sunnane ke liye kunvar betaab jyada honge. Onki shadi ki… right kunvar…..
Everybody laughed on that tease, but yudi did not seem that happy. He simply smiled sheepishly but did not utter a word.
Rajaji: thik hai to phir jaise CR ne kahaa. Kal RB aur unke mata pita yaha aane wale hai. Hum ne pandit ko bhi bulaaya hai, aur jobhi nazdik ka muharat niklega oos me hum aapki shadi ki taarikh pakki karenge. Aur doosri khabar ye hai ki jis project pe aapne itni mahenat ki aur meeting ki wajah se aaj humare saath bhi nahi aye woh contract hume mil gayaa hai.
Oon logo ka hum pe phone aaya tha. Unho ne ye khabar aapko deneke liye bahut phone kiye lekin aapka phone pe contact nahi huaa, isliye phir onhone ye khush khabari hume sunayi. Kunvar hume aap per bahut naaz hai ki aap ki mahenat rang layi.
The news about his wedding mahurat date hit Yudi like an unexpected bolt out of the blue. He was stunned and could not even react to the success of winning the contract.
Yudi was hugely disappointed when the client did not award the contract to him right at the meeting. He was concerned that the client request for additional time to think before awarding the contract would reduce his chances of winning. News of winning the contract should have been a tremendous source of joy for Yudi but it was completely overshadowed by the news of his marriage to RB. It would have been better if his dad would have given this news in reverse order. He could have savored the joy of winning the contract at-least for a split second. Now after the shock of his imminent marriage to someone that he had no love for completely destroyed his excitement.
Rajaji: aap khush hai na kunvar……….
Yudi: haan haan pitaji, hum bahut khush hai aur aapki khushi mai hi hamaari khushi hai.
Rajaji: dekhiye rudra apne bade bhai ko, kitni mehnat aur lagan se sab kaam karte hai. Aur humari maryaada aur pragati ka onhe kitna khayaal hai. Aur ek aap hai jinhe dosto aur partyo mai se phursat nahi milti.
Rudra and CR did not like this comparison. Their discomfort was visible from their expression.
Rajaji: ab aap jaiye kunvar aur aaram kijiye. kal aapke liye badaa mahtva poorn din hai. Aur hume aap par badaa naaz hai aur aap ke hamaare putra hone par badaa fakr hai. Ab jaiye hum bhi ab aaraam karenge.
Yudi returned to his room dejected. The whole palace was silent in the still of the night. Everyone in the palace had retired to their own rooms to sleep. Yudi could not sleep. He was standing near his window looking at bright moon. The solitary moon shining in a sea of darkness only served to highlight his loneliness.
Rani was also standing near her bedroom window and staring blankly at the moon.
Moon can see both disturbed souls from his perch, high above in the sky. The moonlight was not any comfort for either of them today.
Jaise woh dono chaand se keh rahe ho" hai chaand tu kitna khush kismet hai jo har waqt apni chandani ke saath, ooske paas hota hai aur hume dekho kitne paas hoke bhi kitne door hain hum."
Lekin dono ko kya pataa chaand kyaa kah rahaa thaa dono se" mai jantaa hun tumhaari takleef kyunki amavsya ke din mein bhi to bichhadta hu aapni chaandani se"
Kahi door koi gaana sun raha tha jo dheemi avaz se sunai de rahaa thaa
" he khuda har faisla teraa muje manzoor hai
Saamne tere tera bandaa bahot majboor hai"
now it was almost time to take any action . otherwise his life will have only one season "patzad" lekin oose kya pataa tha ki shaam ke baad savera aur , patzad kay baad jo bahaar aati hai oska nashaa kuchh alag hota hai..... aur bahaar ka aagman hone hi walaa hai 😳 😳
