Yaar upar se one ep per week is a torture and ek bhi dhang ke scenes nahi milte pure ep mai torture toh lagega hi 😆😆

One area where MPHT fails is the casting.

For this to be engaging, the makers needed a more viable Team Saad vs Team Abeer dynamic (much like Team Edward vs Team Jacob - waise Maheer bhi Bella se kam nahin - she is equally vapid and stupid).

However Wahaj aur Zaviyar ka koi comparison hi nahin. Wahaj has the looks, the body, the acting chops and this on top of Saad's soft sensitive personality guarantees that everyone is on team Saad and we have no one in team Areeb. This means that for the viewers the story is not about who will Maheer choose (in our minds Saad is the clear cut choice) but we are more interested in how will Maheer fall in love with Saad and how will they navigate their marriage of convenience. In the latter perspective, Areeb is really a side character (much like Hamza in Fitoor).

Maybe Wahaj was offered this role before his glow up but they should have either casted for Areeb someone jo Wahaj ke muqable main jache (like a Shehryar Munawwar maybe). Otherwise if they wanted Zaviyar as Areeb, they should have casted an Usama Khan or Ali Abbas for Saad.*

*Ali Abbas is a fantastic actor but he could have played a plain Jane type of guy with a heart of gold. Or if the makers wanted a good looking guy for Saad then it should be someone at Zaviyar's level in terms of acting chops.

Thats why each epi looks disconnected to the previous one. Like we never se the story flowing to one epi to the next.
