It's a pretty good watch. It's very progressive in a lot of aspects. I don't watch it on daily basis but watches 3-4 episodes in a go after putting it on hold. Yesterday I finished upto 13 episodes. The comedy is not as much as CC or SC but the leads are more matured and sensible if we take out the things they do and say for comedy purpose.

Frankly ngl but Saima Chaudhry is absolutely one of the most progessive writers of Pak dramas. I do agree that she is not in the romantic drama space, and therefore her name will not be taken in the same vein as say a Farhat Ishtiaq or an Umera Ahmed. But she has contributed in a very meaningful way to this industry. Yes a lot of her writing is telling and not showing, but I would take her writing any day over the reams and heaps of bullshyte we are fed with in the name of romance and understanding between a man and woman.
In the end, if it’s between her formula and the toxic hero formula…I doff to hers

Saboor did a nose job? I didn't know that. I like her dressing in both muskil and sarre rah. Haven't watched her in anything else except a telefilm with bilal where both of them did bakwas acting😆

Their eyes are big but different. Sajal literally have sparkling eyes like they show in animated movies😆 . At first i thought saboor was the older sister but was surprised when i got to know sajal is the eldest out of the 3.

Saima is definitely among the most progressive ones. Except for farhan in SC none of her male characters are shown to be regressive and in SC it went with the storyline. Arsal being against jiya's studies had more to do with him not wanting to stay away from her rather than her going for higher studies itself.

In SC fazi was very serious about meenu's education and in hum tum from whatever i have seen she showed women's education was given importance. In IJ also bela wanted to have a business of her own and in CT ayeza is a doctor who is serious about her profession. None of her female leads are aimless except meenu who didn't like to study further and that was her own choice and not due to any manboori or because girls shouldn't be given more education wala track.

She also don't show unwanted hullabaloo over guys and girls interacting and being friends. In nowhere in CT it's shown that the leads being in such a long term relationship to be bad. They have been dating for years and nobody was questioning anybodies character over it. Chand takes tara out for a drive at 11pm and it's shown to be normal and no dialogues of its not safe out there. Tara and her mom are working women staying at a big house alone with only her father visiting occasionally but there is no unwanted talks about how women are staying without any men in the house or showing career oriented modern women in bad light.
