Ok… kindly explain the significance of the chaddor Ma Begam and Meerab are now wearing to go to the village. Murtasim said our women wear chaddor when they go. As in, what makes it different than just wearing the dupatta aside from its more covered look? Is this a thing that generally occurs in the feudal system village? Or does this apply in general life as a part of formal society? I’ve only grown up seeing women wearing it as a shawl for keeping warm. ( But noticed it in shows and movies to represent royalty.) During my wedding,a shawl was placed on me, during one of the rituals, on top of my dupatta. ( A hindu wedding.) just curious!
I would like to know about it too..
I'm assuming chaddor here signifies the royalty and power that the woman of Khan parivaar posses.

Ye kya hai
Entertainment max
I can totally imagine murtism in both ways gawd I want some flashbacks
Unpopular Opinion:I really loved episodes 29 and 30 barring a few scenes(the phone call conversations between Haya n MB / Rohail n Meerab).
In fact,my only major gripe was Meerab's ambiguous replies to Rohail. The Meerab I know would never ever do that especially after that showdown. The writer sahiba clearly did Meerab dirty here just to set up a stage for the love confession between Me and Mu. Be it the dialogues in this scene , the execution, R's caricaturish acting..nothing worked.I wish she had carried this plot forward in a more logical, organic way.
Though I dislike her for creating these odd plots and giving me half-arsed characters like Haya and Rohail but, credit where credit's due, she has created 2 most beautifully flawed layered protagonists.
Another unpopular opinion : I love Meerab !
The fact that she does things to upset people around her with her conflicting objectives and flawed reasoning makes her so real, isnt't it? She exhibits enough agency to earn my attention. And I also like that we are not witnessing her monologues, see she is a trainwreck and everytime she does something she creates a conflict and the anticipation and delivery of that consequence is deeply satisfying for me as a viewer!
I couldn't really grasp Me and Mu in the first 2 episodes (up until her birthday party in Hyd), W and Y were a little too loud and dramatic for my liking. It was the 'Tea' scene in his room (in episode 3) that hooked my attention and there was no looking back after that :) The powerplay in this scene exuded chemistry that could set off fireworks! They both were playing a little ego game and were talking in riddles here and this is pretty much been the template in their relationship. They bicker a lot and they fight too but they reconnect really quick. I think they understand each other's triggers.
For instance- Be it the scene where she snaps at him and tells him to fudge off and cut to the next scene she is at his room asking him to take her to Karachi and many such scenes where they quibble and then behave like nothing happened.
And maybe that's y it never felt odd to me that they were being so normal the next day after the infamous terrace scene. Meerab's class fellow dialogue actually triggered him which made him drag her to the terrace.Him asking her to jump was nothing to do with trust but to make her realise and experience the same level of anxiety and fear he underwent in those 30 mts.And Meerab does understand why he's acting all cold n angry and she also knows that he is not questioning her loyalty here but she is pissed off with his indifference. He used the 'jump' as just a metaphor but our sassy queen wanted to play him at his own game and teach him a lesson. Hisab barabar!
IMO, they've both come a long way but the big elephant in the room is Meerab's fear of abandonment and Mu's fear of rejection(insecure in love), and they will consummate their relationship the day they decide to kick their egos out and address this issue.
Both Wahaj and Yumna slayed their performances in these 2 episodes. I had to rewatch the dinner and terrace scene/ISHQ scene so many times to catch all their nuances, such a superlative performance by both of them. There's so much more that I want to say but I am still basking in Thala's CSK win and ARR's new song(Veera raja Veera from PS2) has already put me in a trance,so still reveling in it!
Gundamwing,Inaayat,Winterberry n a few more--am a fan of your analyses, pls keep them coming!
