Meerab has understood Murtasim better than he has actually understood her. It happens.

The writer is highlighting that through Meerab's actions but since it isn't the unconventional way heroines behave, they find it hard to accept

Her baggage is totally neglected but they do throw crumbs for me to pick up on and relate to her

Murtasim loves her, but his love lacks belief

I will even say that his love isn't unconditional at this point, he holds back a lot of love he has for her, and isn't unhinged

For them to get to a happily ever after, their love has to be unconditional which is sadly not happening right now from either ends

The Meerab of episode 12 is so different from Meerab of today's episode. She's surely warmed up a lot to having Murtasim as her husband but her taking final step is again defeat in her eyes
