Saad is not white either he has he own flaws. For me a character who has weakness is grey. Saad's biggest weakness is Maheer. He needs to let go off her asap but he is waiting for Maheer to take the decision because he doesnt want to take that painful decision. Letting go off Maheer now is more difficult for him compared to when she was about to marry Areeb. He loves it when someone calls her his wife or appreciates their couple no matter what Maheer thinks. He also cant take stand for himself and is a pushover . Who loves to be used by Maheer and her Mom.
@bold Maine dekha . People never respects those who are pushover . They always expect them to do the sacrifice. Its a vicious cycle. In each friendship or relationship. One dominates and other submits . Here Saad is submissive with Maheer. But Maheer can only take out her anger and frustration on Saad. But she is submissive with her Dad.
Quite well put and i agree😳.I wish the writer wont have made Saad a pushover though,he could have had his own voice where he puts himself first and demands respect rather than becoming a punching bag.He is so accepting of Mahi's ill treatment towards him,its like he is happy with whatever he is getting even if its just a scrape and doesnt want to make his life better! He is totally spineless when it comes to Mahi, which makes him look like a victim and Mahi a tormentor.I just wish he would have had his equal say in this friendship where he doesnt get rebuked for even a mere joke!(Him saying, the way you are determined you might yourself make a law on it and the reaction of Mahi to this simple joke and the tone she used when she said you are cracking joke on me) I found it pretty off putting,he needs to give her a reality check bcs no way he deserves that kind of behaviour from her!I feel like he is Gopi bahu, who gets tormented by Ahem(Mahi) and keeps on tolerating it and still cares a hell lot but never gets the acknowledgement for being so considerate and the sad part is he is more than ok with it!
About Mahi,i dont even blame her now,yes she doesnt value her friend but that friend himself doesnt value his ownself thats why expecting it from Mahi is bit too far fetched. When he himself does not realise that he deserves better than what he is getting then i dont even feel the need to blame Mahi for it!He himself accepted that kind of behaviour from his friend and never bothered to call her out on it so its no wonder that Mahi doesnt realise that how terrible she is as a friend!
