Di, but that wasn't the case with me. When a vehicle is at a certain speed and the dog jumps, mopeds like Activa take a little distance to basically stop, by that time we might hit the dog because the brakes don't instantly stop the vehicle.
Normally when we slow down vehicle, they stop chasing.....if you increase the speed, they run after you....
Or for that matter, putting full brakes on these two wheelers at a good speed usually leads to the vehicle skidding.
In both the cases the rider gets terribly hurt while the dog either escapes or is hurt too. Our school staff has many such cases. Each year at least one such incident of a teacher meeting with an accident because of these stray animals including pigs, cows- buffaloes, and dogs is almost a must, usually leading them to hospital for either couple of days, or in the least scenario to an Emergency.
