Everyone’s suddenly so sorted in this show that it is giving me Sooraj Barjatya ‘hum saath saath hain’ diabetic vibes🤣! I am all for Teji, Papa G & Katha herself becoming a spoke in the wheel of this love story🥱!! And Aniruddh sabotaging their on going projects or something! Need some angst asap in this Katha!

How did they make a 360 degree turn of this character so easily….. Makes me wonder too.

While I'm glad that certain tracks are ending (such as Yuvi's affair and stuff), some moments did seem strange in yesterday's episode!

Like you said, even I am finding it difficult to understand as to how the underlying complexity of emotions between Ehsan and Viaan have simply vanished. For example, Ehsan's action of spiking Vi's drink was dealt with so casually!! I mean, that is a really serious matter, and Ehsan really did seem evil in that episode; it didn't seem like a playful act at all. I remember we had so many deep discussions on this forum about why Ehsan felt insecure with Viaan. So I was taken aback that they solved that revelation so easily.

But now that these tracks are ending, I am curious as to how the growth of Katha and Viaan's relationship will get portrayed.

I felt that yesterday’s episode reflected Katha's vulnerability to trauma and traumatic events in general. I personally think this is a refreshing contrast to mahaan version of her.

When she stepped into the hospital and looked at the stretchers and other medical devices around, painful memories of Arav's illness flooded into her; she was immediately pulled into this bubble of the past. If you guys remember, this happened when she went to the luxury hotel in Dubai too. She could not help but remember the ONS night, including the pain and darkness of the event (of her having to sleep with Viaan for money). I feel that Katha struggles to process certain traumatic events completely, and as a result, certain settings, atmospheres definitely act as triggers.

If you remember one of the episodes towards the beginning (following the ONS), Katha also trembled when Viaan accidentally touched her while taking a pen from her; even a small touch triggered her to the memories of her being physical with Viaan. This pattern of certain things (including Shamita's accusation) triggering her has occurred repetitively.

I hope that in the future, the makers show Katha actively and openly processing certain complex emotions, especially those from the ONS. Being physical with someone is a huge deal (especially for Katha); obviously, her romantic feelings for Viaan will be in conflict with triggering moments from the night. I want to see a conversation between her and Viaan where they talk about what emotions they went through that night, but I think I'm expecting too much 😅

Do you all agree with him?

I find him tweeting this ridiculous because he did fall for the desire of delivering a love triangle. But online audience gave very strong disapproval & he retraced his steps abruptly. Mocking ITV after you did try a triangle in the same show seems wrong to me.

If he keeps listening to the twitter people, the show will have no clashes of personalities & every problem will be solved like they were fighting over a candy😆

It seems evident that they are changing storyline as per feedback may be online or channel intervention thus track appears not related with each other or in that sync. I do not mind this change, it is good to see a friend backing off and supporting the other one for his love. Like Viaan knows Ehsan, Ehsan also has seen Viaan through childhood and is perhaps more aware that if he falls in love with someone then surely it will be a genuine love from his end. My only complaint is that it seemed very rushed in. Perhaps they want to move to love story soon as that would be the demand of the season. And ofcourse after love story begins, other drama around can follow.

I felt it was very real reaction from her. There is nothing to change about it, I feel only change Katha has now is that she has found a person to talk about her feelings. It was evident first with lonavala trip and now this hospital sequence that she feels comfortable talking to Viaan about things that has troubled her- her husband's death, her child's illness. May be Viaan's own trauma helped her in opening up to him. Also ease with which he opened up to her regarding his father would have given her push to share her trauma as well.

With everyone else katha seems too strong and always helping people out. If you remember Ehsan trying to ask Katha opening her on her struggle for her child's treatment and she avoiding his talks then. But here with Viaan all he had to say was that I am here you can share it, she feels comfortable in sharing things.

@Bold- It will be really nice if Viaan can share with her that why only with her he felt the need to go to that extent. He never did it before so why Katha.

Word for your analysis😊!! If they actually explore this aspect of Katha’s inner trauma that would be great. Cause showing her as a superwoman solving everyone’s problems left and right is really ITV cliche and off putting. But delving into her vulnerability, her past trauma dealing with Aarav’s sickness, her trauma around the ONS and how she has been bottling it all up would actually make for some great viewing. She is a very sensitive and deeply emotional person who has had to put up strong walls around herself in order to deal with the many tragedies life has dealt out to her. She has been battling it all alone (with some kind souls for moral suppport like Phalguni, Reva etc.) so she is not used to openly express herself in front of anyone. But with Viaan she has shown that vulnerability at times & given a peek into her inner chaos. She is happy that Aarav is fine now & tries to keep that side of her buried inside not allowing it to resurface. This vulnerability could be a wonderful starting point for her feelings for Viaan… his unconditional love & support can help her to open up and heal in the process. Also, like you say I am quite curious to see how they will show both of them overcome/deal with the physical intimacy trauma from the ONS once they do start their journey of love. At some point his touch has to move out of the zone of triggering the memories from that night into a caring, loving desirable touch for Katha. The makers are breaking a few moulds let’s see if they deal with tgat head or as well😊

Ehsaan’s sudden changeover does seem like course correction…whether due to feedback or they felt the show was appreciated for breaking some ITV norms and they could risk a different approach one can’t tell. It still was a little sudden I feel, but I am all for it if they don’t want to go the love triangle way. We have been subjected to so much of the same crap on ITV for so long that I will take this different any day😁

Very well said!

The fact that she has fought all her battles alone has made her constantly box all her fears and emotions. At face level, superficially, she is perfectly fine but she has so much suppressed and locked inside.

I like it when they show the vulnerability of the characters
