But I don't understand why they don't show romance properly in show

What's the problem

IQ special thing is romance only and they are not using that.

They are wasting his talent in this show

I have a feeling they are hesitant to show that with all the age gap going...

As such they are hell bent on showing Dev older than HP... This must have been the plan all along.. . But then their wedding night and next day shower scene had so much passion going on... Today's episode was drab compared to that😔

I feel bad for rachana and Iqbal - they tried their best with what they were given. Their eyes speak volumes as dev and vidhi, but the whole scene itself was such a disappointment. Just a box the makers had to tick.

Why can’t anything be shown with a pinch of reality. They should take shows like this off ITV and put it only on OTT platforms.

I have been hoping this for long... I wish someone sensible took this up... Same cast same theme.. Don't mind if it's a limited episode series...as long as it is realistic minus all hamla drama.

I thought the same - but like you said the wedding night and morning after was so so much better. I have no idea what the intent was today.

The whole point was love knows no age - if they are shying away from actually following through on it they might as well call it quits.

I don’t want to see Hamla - I don’t think anyone wants to see hamla.

Satya and the other Raichands are starting to get to me too - I’m not saying that a show shouldn’t have additional characters - but I don’t want to see dev and vidhi being crowned the best son and daughter in law. Their relationship needs a lot of work, outside of where they fit in each others’ families.

Issue is they started out wanting to explore a new theme...but down the line.. They don't want to go further with that.. They seemed to have switched the theme to ott family drama long time back.. The sooner we realize this thr better for us.... We won't hold any unrealistic expectations

Quick update -

Dev and vidhi are at the fake nadi and dev gives her a few papers. He comments about the beauty of the sunset and tells her that when the sun goes down everything becomes dark, but does it stay dark forever? She is like no, with the mornings rays, the darkness goes away. Dev is like then why are you not able to forgive yourself - yes it was a dark time but the truth is out and there is light now. Vidhi says ok, while shedding a tear and dev wipes it away .

Dev tells vidhi to write one thing down on the piece of paper make a boat out of it and let it sail in the fake river. (Carl - main aapko hi yaad kar rahi thi is scene mein 🤣🤣)

Vidhi writes lack of trust, dev writes doubt. They let the boat sail.

Next go round, vidhi writes unfaithfulness and dev writes pride. They let the next boat sail.

Last go round vidhi both of them write umra ki Seema.

They let the boats go and vidhi says that she doesn’t wNt to remove that from their relationship. She wants to live with it, happily 😊

They go back near the tent and dev asks vidhi to wait for him. She goes away and dev goes searching for her near the nadi kinara and shouts vidhi 🤣 he goes back to the tent and sees her there - she has two bowls of fruit (!) and says she picked it just for him. he asks her to wait and gets some salt and pepper for it. he eats one and is like wow - thisbis better than paani puri what is it - its amla. they have a cute moment.

its night time, there's a fire burning vidhi and dev are in the tent. i will stop trying to describe this here - but it finally leads to ultimate pyaaz ā˜ŗļøā˜ŗļø set to a very beautiful song that I don’t remember.

Edited to add - went back to check, ang laga de re from ram leela.

hamla are the kitchen and hp is panicking asking about the cost of sabudana, peanuts etc. he’s like he’s worried about Vijay and is thinking of doing what vidhi suggested - upwas packets. Bims is like let vidhi come back we’ll ask her

Next morning dev and vidhi go to a temple where vidhi is like there is a pujari here who can look at your fate and tell your future. If he tells it by just looking at you, it’ll come true. Dev is like let’s go find out. Pujari is like you guys are like ram and Sita. You got together after a lot of difficulty, but your relationship remained strong. You’ll face more difficulties in the future - but as long as you’re together - you’ll be able to face and come out of it happily. He gives them a thread and asks them to do parikrama while promising to always be with each other. They do that, and vidhi thanks dev for the previous day and asks him what she can do to show how grateful she is. He is like let’s go home and you make me a nice coffee.

Divya is in abhi’s office waiting for him and she is like I will show abhi the proof I have, Yogesh sees her and decides to get her out so that his plan won’t be exposed. He screams at her and is like dev trusted you and you tried to ruin his life by making him your dad. Abhi comes and falls for it and fires her. Yogu makes her leave her laptop, but she has what she needs in a pen drive and she walks out.

Divya calls dev and lets him know that with great difficulty she found who the mole is and tells him that they found out and she got caught. She was fired. She asks him to come quickly. Dev is like we’ll be there in two hours, stay safe and stay away from the office.

precap - dev tells abhi why he dint check Yogesh’s accounts and tells him that he’s been cheating them. He asks abhi to call Yogesh, but Yogesh himself comes and dev punches him. He falls at ambas feet and Amba asks him to call security who grab dev. Amba announces that she is now the owner of raichand industries.

I am saving my review for until more of you have seen the episode

Just finished watching the episode and i thoroughly enjoyed it (lol i might be giving the contrary opinion considering how rest of you all are feeling)

I thought the sunrise vs darkness was very symbolic because Dev could see that Vidhi was struggling to over come her blunder and he wants to her to feel easy around him (marginal utility wala scene yaad agaya)

The negative things they eliminated using the boats was creative, cause I have not seen this kind of approach before but the topics they highlighted such as lack of trust, cheating or ego were very subtly mentioned which are so important. These factors can ruin any relation for that matter

And now the big night, i agree they let the song do the heavy lifting but man those eyes can speak volumes. The second Dev wrapped Vidhi with the comforter, the intent and passion in his eyes was clear ā˜ŗļøā˜ŗļø

And the acceptance from Vidhi by taking off the comforter was what Dev needed.

The mandir sequence just solidified that no matter what, they both will always rise to the occasion and come out stronger than before

Whenever Dev looks at Vidhi with that much love in his eyes, i melt

Dont want to talk about other characters today...

Now the elephant in the room - the SR

i agree they could have added a couple of more steps before closing in but i was not expecting shirtless Dev or Vidhi showing skin. Some how i feel this show is not about the hot passion the typical love stories show. So far in their love story i have seen more elements of respect, support and a lot of affection but not the hot passion. Even in the wedding night, all they did was take off jewelry but the eyes were killer in executing love

I could be wrong but i think the makers do not intend to target that spot. That being said, i understand most of you wanted more to celebrate the coming together of ViDev in every sense of the word ā¤ļø

Spot on! the shower scene was very romantic. They are trying to show Dev too old unnecessarily.

This is one thing that bugs me that the entire generation of parents, mausi, chachi, chacha blah blah have black dyed hair but Dev's salt and pepper is only increasing more! He had hints of brown when the show started and they need to bring that back. Thora zyada age gap par focus horaha hai

This has slowly become a bit of best son and daughter in law show after the wedding and it was bound to happen cause all characters around them are faulty whereas these two are pretty much epitome of perfection.

I wasn't expecting skin show ever.. There is enough cringe stuff on other ott platforms for such stuff..

The entire sequence felt hurried as if they couldnt wait to get it out of their system.. Then what was the point of holding off for so long.. They could have gone ahead with it on the wedding night itself..

The leads have such strong chemistry that even their eye lock makes fans swoon.. They could have executed it better is all most of us feel

The saving grace of todays epi was everything dev and Vidhi’s eyes conveyed. IQ and rachana are doing the best with what they are given and I think they did an amazing job .
@bold - I could have lived with this had they just shown them hugging each other or even looking at each other and fading away. What I’m disappointed by is the lack of intent - none of this was intentional - it came across as a box they had to tick, and I don’t think we as viewers deserved that. I feel cheated because of how it was executed. The story deserved better.

In any case - the box has been ticked and we can move on šŸ˜„ I don’t think we can expect anything more from a star show airing at 8:00
