This thread reminded me why I come back to this shit ass show and character. Hc is 80% reason. Rest is abhi. Dude never caught a break. I have said this before, if he never fell in love he would have been better. He wanted someone who could prioritise him above all, like he did. Sadly his wife wanted family, sister in law's blah blah...like that movie hum tumhare hai sanam he came at bottom of list. Of course they weren't happy. He wanted his happy life under that white bed sheet, wanted to live a drama free life unlike his parents. What he got? Sacrificing fl getting into everything, never listening to him, showing faloo ka attitude, never getting any reality check, always under trauma. Somehow her trauma >>>> his trauma. Bakwas.

And he wouldn’t have done this to anyone in that family .. his mother hid the truth about Neel .. stood by while Neel was treated every day like a second class citizen by his own father and then also all Abhimanyu said was Neel was angry with the wrong person .. he never even considered his mother could be wrong .. but right from the time he married her , he is ready to believe the worst of Akshara, wedding anniversary, Neel truth.. inspite of loving her he always took decisions for her without considering her opinion .. gifting that music department , his reactions when she didn’t want to work in burkas, the way he behaved at her charitable hospital ..so many instances .. he definitely loved her but didn’t really consider her opinions while taking most decisions .. if anger is Abhimanyu ‘strait , he loved Akshara for the same sacrificing nature .. but then wanted her to become someone else so he can continue loving her ? What kind of thing is that ? True it would have been more true to Akshara’s nature to think at least about Abhir s truth when Abhimanyu had the accident .. but I definitely can make more allowances to her fears and not wanting to subject her son to all the bitter truths of his father and family and May be her past as well .. I can understand why she wouldn’t want to do that .. I am sure everyone wants Abhir to hear a sanitised version of what happened between his Dickson and his mother and how his mother was treated or expect Akshara to tell only the good things.. but which mother would willingly subject a six year old to all thd toxicity of his real fathers family unless the child is a little more grown up .. again I really hope for a mature love story in this third innings .. I am hoping there will be one .. but I feel so bad that people are so much more willing to overlook what Abhimanyu did but blame Akshara at least partially for that day and for her decisions .. and even in serial there is no justice for her .. I hope at least once she blasts every one .. at least Manjari , Arohi etc and Abhi too if he really asks her tum Hoti kaun ho .. Sorry for the rant

Actually during everything that happened that day and there after for many days and weeks there was a lot of posts calling out Abhimanyu's behavior to Akshara.

Its just those post like some in this discussion thread have already been discussed and said and done. No one has forgotten that day. Abhi has had his share of issues and responsibilities for that day. Its been 3 months now and we have seen him get a reality check by Akshara. She called him out on things he did. It was rightly deserved. Does he not have a right to redeem himself and fix some of his issues?

I think he does. For me personally I am not going to hold that grudge against him when he has done some good things for Akshara as well. He has had his share of traumas that have impacted his decision making. This is not an excuse but it is part of who he is. Even Akshara has her own traumas that have impacted her decision making as well. I do not hold grudges against her on that either.

People have accused Akshara for making poor decisions, waiting at the last minute to do something instead of handling matters in a more timely fashion, her carelessness in matters (not taking account of how serious a situation can be), her need to self sacrifice to the detriment of herself and others around her.

And the truth is whether we see it or not the family environments can also have an impact on how you make your decisions. Sometimes it is hard to see you are in a toxic relationship/environment until someone pulls you out of it. Abhimanyu helped Akshara realize what Arohi was doing to her. Now, someone needs to make Abhimanyu see what his mother is doing to him. In the 1.0 version of Abhimanyu he knew his household wasn't the greatest. Yet every time he attempted to leave he was held back. First it was his mother who refused to leave his father. Second was Akshara who didn't want him to leave his family for her despites Bade Papa's request.

I really want this time for him to move out of Birla house. Abhimanyu and Akshara don't need either the Birlas or Goenkas get involve with how they raise Abhir.

For akshu..

She was always lonely in Gh since her childhood aware of the loss of her mother. She always tried to take care and treasure what she has left. Her brother , her step mother , her step sister and rest of G family.

She is of easy going and and always treasured littlw happiness because she was made aware of how important they were by the loss of her parents and sirat . since childhood she developed the habit of sacrificing her happiness in order to please others and seeing them happy she would treasure that happiness ..time passed and this was embedded in her nature.all the blames of sirats death. coupled with the promises she made with sirat and her nature which was developed of finding happiness in others happiness all this formed a major part of akshu we see today.

G family never really pitched in deep enough to realise behind aksharas people pleasing and sacrificial nature there lies deep rooted trauma of loneliness and loses .they considered it her virtue when it was the cause of her suffering from childhood till now

Because people can be happy by seeing our loved ones happy but ultimately one has dreams, unspoken desires and those selfish complaints which if we not express it will drain us..

There she met abhimanyu completely opp of her though caring for the people he loves he was completely selfish and never really cared what others think if he thought his path was right.

For first time aksharas wall that she built over the years abhi has broken through it to find the love for himself .but when she knew her sister too desired his hand in marriage .she again build that wall . But abhimanyu as selfish and self righteous he was he only needed her knod to go foward against both families . For the first time akshara saw someone who was so selfish and so straightforward all for the sake of her love.. and when she realised he was in danger.the comparison hit him hard no one not even her own brother , loved her so selfishly, so shameleslly.

Abhi opposed even manjiri at that time.

He even didnt care he led arohi to a loveless mariage just to make akshu realise her love for him.

He was never the righteous or those self sacrificing type of heroes in akshu story which all women admired . but one who was selfish and shameless and can go to anylengths for her love yet righteous towards his profession and compassionate towards others.

This selfishness and shamelessnes was what broke akshus wall which even G family cannot break after all these years.

And akshu slowly started to fight for herself , her dreams , and even against arohi if it was for abhi.

Why we see akshara fights with abhi , but is silent in case of others. because she knew no matter how much they fight abhi will love her selfishly and look at reasons for their major fights

During the manjiri divorce track when both of them fight akshara exactly knew why abhi was angry because he cannot bear others insulting her just like his mother was .. so when he called their relationship a mistake .she was angry at him for not understanding her even though he wanted to protect her but he was not allowing her ideoligy in fear of her being hurt.

In first leap also when she returned abhi had the exact same problem of her sacrificing her carrer , her music , for him not once he q about anyother things but akshara understood abhi was burdened with her sacrifice just like his mothers sacrifice from childhood and in that trauma and pain he is unable to see her pain , thats why that me, myself quote , of akshu .

Just like abhi freed her from her sister jaap but not completely from people pleasing nature , akshara too freed him from some of his childhood pain and made him realise it was okay to share burdens with family , resulting him getting more involved with goenka family .

Akshara in all this truly loved abhi , and considered him someone whom she can love without pleasing, fight, be selfish with unlike other G family members. her trust in abhi came from the very fact that when it comes to her abhi was selfish and shameless and can go to any extent.

I always thought after seeing akshu after that ngo accident that have she not even thought about abhi and babies , and her reaction after the white day but rewatching earlier eps..

It made me realise for akshara G family and rest of birlas opinions never mattered , because she knew they never really were as selfish and loved her so deeply to break her walls or to see her dreams or her trauma.

Somewhere during that incident akshu had hoped that no matter anyone from the families will understand or not abhi will try to understand her but she failed to realise that burden of deaths were too much for him too . Because of the same sacrificing nature he witnessed his wife suffering just like his mother.

on that day akshara never really in her wildest dream had imagined abhi bringing sirats death.

And blame her for deaths of neil and children .

She couldnt make him realise that it was not that she did it intentionally but she just cannot bak off from that situation because it was for her ideals she grown from childhood and only person she expected to understand was him.

But seeing him in so much pain and regret .she let go of the only relationship where she thought she could be selfish, she could be herself , she could follow her heart.

Even after knowing abhirs truth untill nav convinced her she didnt want to call abhi , why because for her abhimanyu mattered that much , his love and approval mattered that much,

Abhi always had

Neil, manjiri whom he can be selfish with or be himself .atleast preleap.

But akshu had none other than abhi who was as shameless and selfish for her love.

Aksu can never selfishly desire anything from them. and if she was then compaisons, with arohis happiness, and all familys happiness always weighed her down .nor G family was concerned when it came to akshu.

Thats why she is so angry with abhi , not just because of rejection of abhir but because abhi who was the only person she could be selfish with, fight with without any reservations has taken that right from her .so ruthelessly.

In This leap where abhi realised that he has to come to terms with that sacrificing nature of akshu because he cannot love anyother person than her.

Akshu had to realise we cannot sacrifice everything because of our ideologies and expect our partner to understand that.and abhir is exactly that kid who can make her realise that.

She has to understand she has to be selfish when it comes to saving atleast our own child.

Thats where she will start to understand abhi.

She has already started to distance herself from matters of family for her child .
