Short update

The ladies ask Tara to dress up.

She comes dressed up as a bride. The inspector wants to check everyone under the veil. She starts checking, and at the point when she comes to Tara, Dhruv interferes dressed up as a groom. Speaks in Haryanvi slang, and is against the police lifting the veil of his to-be.

Archaeologist dude is at Tauji's shop, and discovers something (probably the coins Tara carried from the 17th century).

Tara is against the marriage. Dhruv convinces her to exchange garlands, but she is against taking pheras.

Jay comes to the samuhik vivah and takes a photo of Dhruv (but not Tara because she's looking the other way) and takes it to the family to tell that Dhruv has married someone

Dhruv's mother tells the archaeologist that her son will not marry someone without her approval and will marry Preeti only. Archaeologist says it better be so, otherwise he'll dig up trouble for them. Preeti faints on hearing Dhruv's marriage news, but is seen muttering to herself that she needs to tell Dhruv the whole thing.

I think Preeti too was being forced for this marriage and she actually loves someone else.

So Dhruv wants to tell everyone his marriage is fake >> meets Preeti >> decides to pretend with Tara that the marriage is real.

Yeh Dr. Tarun mujhe ittu sa bhi pasand nahi aaya. Poori villain vibes deta hai. Kam villains the jo ek aur aa gaya? 😔

I like the difference in beliefs in Dhruv and Tara, regarding faith especially, since people in the 17th century were definitely much more religious. And agni pariksha, and even praying to Kahna ji for every little thing shows it pretty well.
But I would have preferred ki itna dramatically nahi dikhaaye- chunni udhkar aana and everything.

Yeh Dr. Tarun ki fascination seventeenth century ke coins se kuchh theek nahi lagi mujhe.

Yeh Susheela mujhe thodi thodi Ishwari vibes deti hai (Kuchh rang pyar ke aise bhi anyone?) Dono hi achhi nahi lagti mujhe. Toxic maa jo apne beton se zyaada hi attached hain.

I love Tara's resolve when it comes to things. Shows her determination and how she wouldn't stand for what she believes isn't right.
