To be honest I don't know every single detail. Maybe I won't be accurate so I apologize if I offend anyone. It was during the Pak terrorist attacks agains India, and at that time Fawad and Mahira where working in bollywood. Pak actors in India were publicly asked to take a stand against Pak, but obviously anyone with half a brain knew they were under immense pressure from their own government, if they said they anything against their own country they were foouuccccckkkkkeed, their family safety was at stake at home back in Pak how could they say anything endanger their children lives. I think in private people sympathized with Pak actors, some in Bollywood even said nice things like art and politics should not mix, but not enough and they were expelled from India. Pak actors were in lose lose situation.

Fawad movie with KJO Ae Dil Hai Muskhil, his scenes were cut. KJo begged and pleaded to release the movie finally.

Mahira shooting Raees with SRK he cut out her scenes.

Someone know the full story. Did Fawad and Mahira ever speak on what happened during that time.
