she had so many Opportunities to tell vinu .. did she do that
First you have to secure your own matters ..
I am just laying down the history.. she never fought for her husband, marriage
then she never fought for her son .. now she won’t fight for her daughter
She can only give gyan to others
I don't really have anything to comment upon your dislike or like for Sai's character, but there are few things that aren't consistent with the show. And that is that she never fought for those around her.
Wasn't she fighting for Vinu this whole time though? The only reason why she even took the custody case back because she felt it would be too traumatizing for him, and given how he is reacting after just one story from Pakhi, I would say that she was even right in her decision. Moreover, Sai always fought for her rights. She only gave up when she felt that the people she is fighting for isn't actually hers at all.
1. She never fought for Virat because she thought that he actually was in love with Pakhi.
2. The moment Sai and Virat got together, and then Pakhi started to come between them aka the surrogacy track, Sai was so big of an obstacle that Pakhi had to send goons to stop her.
3. After the surrogacy nothing could be done, but when it came to Pakhi getting her son, she fought again to such an extent that Virat (that absolute pile of sh-) had to literally snatch Vinu away from her.
4. After Pakhi became successful in getting Vinu, Sai went ahead and sent her to jail. That was the peak of what she could have done. It isn't her fault that Virat misused his powers.
5. After Pakhi got home, Sai again put her foot down and fought for herself and her child and left the home.
6. And now that Pakhi has Vinu, Sai is again and again fighting for her child.
I am not saying Sai isn't at fault here. Her biggest fault is that she is way too good to the people around her and way too trusting, to an extent that it is now borderline stupid. But it just doesn't make sense to say that she is paying the chavans too much attention, or that she isn't paying Savi enough.
Because The chavans literally have her child with them. Her own son. The one whom she thought was dead. How could she possibly leave him or that family alone? If I were in Sai's place, I would too go ahead and live in the Chavan House, because agree or not, that is the best way for Sai to get close to Vinu (excluding legal actions, of course).
And why should she not pay them attention? Karishma herself said in the show, "Just because unke paas ek baccha hai to dusre ko chhod de. Aisa thodi hota hai" Even if she had 10 more Savis with her, she still would have been right to pursue Vinu.
And lastly, No. Sai has shown excellent motherhood in this whole track. Never once had she ever neglected Savi. From acknowledging her schoolwork to playing with her, Sai has always been there for her. Let me explain my point with an example: The telescope night.
Your point of Sai neglecting Savi and not fighting for her would have been right if she had immediately put the telescope away after Vinu had refused to join them. That would have shown her biasedness towards Vinu. But that didn't happen. Sai was sad when Vinu said no. She was heartbroken, but the moment she saw Savi getting sad, she immediately shifted all her attention towards her.
I was skeptical before, thinking that now they might show Sai's neglect towards Savi, but that actually didn't happen. And one or two moments of not being there for a child doesn't mean the parent is not fighting for them.
