My day to rant away is today😡. People who don't want to corrupt their minds, you have been duly warned😃

The episode started off with Katha showcasing the video. Everyone's reactions to Viaan's poetry made me mighty confused Viaan is the only one who actually knows what prompted him to write that piece. So, him being self conscious, to some extent is understandable. Everybody else toh🤔

Why would Katha assume she had some influence on him writing this poetry piece? Why are Teji and Farah declaring that beta toh gaya, pyar mein paagal and blabbering away. Why can't it be a run of the mill poetry he had written in the spur of the moment? The committee members were clueless, making faces of " what the heck is this and for whom" and talking amongst themselves. Instead of enjoying a poignant piece being recitedEhsaan is making faces to say " woh kaun thi". Am I missing something girls? I am flabbergasted. He never uttered a name or anything that sounds concrete in his poem.

What followed thereafter is absolute bunkum. Firstly, every person in the room took turns sunaoing and public shaming of Shamita. Bhai, you have done a respectable investigation so far, why can't they maintain the same decorum to complete and conclude the evaluation. The whole deed went into the account of Pyramid-Anirudh.

It is to the utter stupidity of Katha and Viaan, that they came up with their own reason why Shamita did such an act. What a horror 😡🤢Why didn't they make any effort to listen to the reason/incentive from her own mouth? Why would they open their big mouths and find excuses for a culprit such as Shamita. One moment, Viaan is turning around and bawling and the other moment, Saint Viaan is advancing towards Shamita to tell her that she is forgiven, with no accountability whatsoever😡. Amidst all of this, Shamita was not even given time, space or a chance to convey a heartfelt apology, nor did she acknowledge any wrongdoing in words. Instead, mahaan or stupid, whichever way we want to look at him, Viaan already forgave and ready to forget too🤬👎🏼🤢

What an insult to the umpteen number of victims on the both sides of the debate- people who have been harassed sexually and those who are harassed with fake charges💔. It is a total disservice to all those victims and the show just made a mockery of these countless people around the world🤢 I was just about feeling happy that they didn't discredit Viaan's pain, hurt and horror of a heinous charge just because he is a male. By having him cry in relief and Katha asking the right question " what about his respect and honor"? Sab mein paani pher diyein by having Viaan taking a stupidly foolish high road for no reason😡🤡. Where are you Mango? Remember we had this debate before " not forgiving and forgetting anything without acknowledgement" ?🤢 He looks like an utter nincompoop, he doesn't know her motives, she didn't offer an apology, yet bhai saab aage hi nikal padeinto a la-la land of forgiveness😡. And what was the stupid question to Teji " do you know how many women's lives are affected"? HUHHHH!!!!😡😵Exactly !do you even know how many lives are affected by fake/real harassment every day?

CEO Ehsaan is the only one who seemed sensible.

Yes, I don’t know what to say…after my post this morning about how good the writing and characters are they came up with this as an outcome of a investigation. I would hope people are sensible enough to know this is a show and no one would forgive and forget their character being maligned in public.

What was the point of a formal investigation if no formal outcome and giving the accuser a reason rather than investigating why was a joke…. she is still leaving with a letter of recommendation to go do the same to someone else…

Today was the pits…I was looking forward to the big revalation but instead it was a phuski bomb….why do these shows always do that🤯

I don’t even know what to say about this whole allegation anymore. They stretched the track for over two weeks only to let Shamita free from this whole thing without any consequences like why? in real life these allegations whether fake or real are taken very seriously but they turned it into a joke. On top of that Viaan’s character has gone for a toss with this over mahaanta and over politeness and his constant seeking of forgiveness from Katha for every little thing is plain dumb. What really ticked me off was the fact that Viaan didn’t even try to look for evidence to prove himself. He’s the CEO for gods sake he should know how to defend himself but ofcourse they had to have Katha devi get to the evidence first and no one else could get to it before her.

I am finding it hard to understand what the writers are planning for every character tbh. On one hand they had Ehsan spike his best friend’s drink and on the other hand he appears to be very supportive of him. Viaan is supposed to be a flawed but mature businessman but they’ve also turned him into a puppy. Katha ke baare mein kuch nahi kehna mujhe kyunki she’s more interested in solving other people’s problems more than looking after her own kid who was sick just some time back.

If I were the writer I would make Viaan set a corporate detective after Shamita to find out who she reports to, or is acting alone. Then I wld collect evidence of sabotage againt Pyramid & decimate them in the Architects Assn or whatever. That is the Viaan at the start of the show. That is also the stuff that makes one the No.1 architecture firm.

Remember, Viaan already had a suspicion of a Pyramid mole in his office?

Nice post Mili. But humbly differ on the first part about reactions. I think this sensitive poetic side of Viaan’s is something he hides well & v few know (such as Ehsan, maybe not even absent-mum Teji). In favtvwhen Keith mentioned sbout Viaan writing & singing in college, even Katha was surprised.

So to hear him recite such a senti romantic poem, and in a manner that sounds very personal, would have taken the board & committee colleagues by surprise. Also a trifle embarrassing in the work place, to hear your stern boss/CEO suddenly sound like a mushy devdas.

Teji wld have put 2 & 2 together & got 22 immediately! She sensed long ago Viaan’s soft corner for Katha, found out Katha’s for him, was checking with Ehsan also if he was in love, so this is easy confirmation. In fact fm the poem she wld have realised how far gone he was & that wld hv rattled her.

mili -- now you can understand why I wanted to take a break from the show. in some ways, I am not surprised that this happened because the past two weeks have been a fail.

I was complaining about the BGM in DT over the past two weeks. it may seem like a trivial detail but the reason I was getting irked was that the BGM did not match the appropriate seriousness of the situation.

this is a fake sexual harassment suit and instead of having pounding music that raises everyone's BP, they had quiet time music in the middle where katha and viaan make googly eyes at each other. 🤦🤦🤦

so it was clear to me that they are going to fudge this up and I was getting more and more frustrated with each episode.

they have butchered viaan to the point that he has gone the other extreme; this is why I say katha is not good for him at the moment and it is better they don't start a romance where he is constantly on the backfoot and having to apologize for everything because he is so riddled with guilt and making stupid decisions.

to give her a letter of recommendation so that she can do the same torture to someone else -- viaan deserves a slap. 😡

I am glad that I have decided to keep some distance. I am yet to watch the episode and will put it off till I am in a good space because otherwise I will be fuming -- it is one thing to say it is just a drama but the makers have basically sent a message that it is okay to do fake harassment cases as it isn't a big deal and there will not be any consequences. 🤦

the makers better redeem themselves by having viaan hit with a volley of trouble for his decision to let shamita go off like this.

mili -- just to talk about how serious these things can be, we should look at the PK drama 'dunk' which was never frivolous. it was inspired by a real life incident where a professor was accused of rape by a student because he didn't give her the marks she wanted on her final paper. 🤯🤯

he had two young adult daughters himself and was so heartbroken by the accusation as well as the intense backlash he faced. he believed that the investigation will not go in his favour and even if it did, he will not get his honour back. he ended his life. the truth was revealed and the student didn't just get fined by the university but faced action from the judiciary as well. she did end up going to prison for her fake report.

people on other platforms who are profusely giving appreciations for this drama don't realize how the makers have bungled up a very serious real life issue and not given it the earnest treatment it deserves.

if you are going to be bringing in real life issues, then it deserves to be sensitively handled, this mess by the makers ticks me off. 🤬

instead the makers went bent on showing how viaan has lost his teeth because he has changed. if this is redemption, then no one will sign up to lose all their marbles 🤢

M, I haven't watched the ep yet but I did go through some posts here. I also saw your fav Anirudh. My theory is that the writers opted for this route because there is a whole track planned for your Anirudh. I agree that it's the wrong message to let Shamita go without facing the consequences of her actions. I look at the show through my own lens of experience. I have also made decisions where I listened to my heart instead of my mind. Viaan is at that place where he puts much emphasis on forgiveness, and believes that everyone deserves a second chance. I just know that all of us pay for our actions or receive the rewards accordingly. I always paid the price for listening to my heart where I felt pity for others. Now I do what is right no matter what....but all this comes from experience. I understand everything which you guys write but my problem is that there is an expectation for the leads to do what is right in any circumstance. I don't feel that that is realistic. How can I judge that Shamita will not bear the consequences of her actions based on one ep? Should we not give the writers a chance to show us their story?

M, I only write or share based on what I have experienced in life. All characters have graphs and they are bound to make many mistakes before they get to where they are supposed to....unless the writers' visions are skewed. For now, I am aligned with what they are showing us.

shalzie -- I had a really good laugh at anirudh scenes. his dramatic eye rolls and his "I am always honest" cracked me up -- that was the highlight of the episode. hahahahha..

otherwise, I wanted to slap viaan for his random naivety and his handling with shamita -- "ooh lets not be angry with each other" -- 🤦🤦🤦.

my concern is that it will be like typical ITV where FLs will do something mahaan and then we just move on to the next journey of mahaanata... 🙄

my sincere hope is they are planning further arcs where viaan is going to get roasted for his stupidity; am all for pyramid to raise havoc. please show the fallacy of rewarding A while hoping for B.
