It's a reference to when Anupamaa's besht husband (out of the two till now) called her a masale dani which is used to store spices, essentially a spice box (the simple english translation). Because for him, all she symbolised was an unpaid maid who cooks and cleans. Ironically, now her fans see him in a better light than the current husband 🤣

Her soulmate, Acche Pita made several comments about how she reeks of spices. This dehumanisation was fine by her till the affair was exposed so why should others disagree...I'm sure you get the gist of it 😆
