Really?? I don't think so....I feel Dhoni was really lucky as a captain, he was definitely good though but wasn't the smartest captain. Tactical captains were Gilchrist, Clarke, Greme Smith, Mark Taylor......Even Ponting wasn't that good tactically, he was extremely lucky to have a brilliant cricketers with him.
