Yes both are different scenarios, I don't know if their intent was to draw comparison and make Viaan forgive Shamita as he was seeking apology for his mistake too. But in his case he didn't frame anybody with malicious intent. I know lot has been said for his offer on ONS. I don't understand why such sinister way of looking at it. He did not go and made an offer to Katha just like that..She came for help to him and he put forward a condition which she had a choice to reject. His condition was horrible understandable but he did not know why she wanted money. Moreover it was his money that saved Katha's son. He can feel guilty over it but forgiving someone who has framed him and put his family/company in such bad and tense situation just like that gives a wrong message.

From a real life experience I can tell you sometimes falling in love is unhealthy 😆, you do act illogical n impractical out of love. And once you are out of that love, you realize what dumb person you become in love..

Tough task master, capable, confident, smart, successful, no nonsense taker, workaholic, reserved, short tempered, go getter CEO Viaan is way too lost somewhere.😔

It will be foolish of Earthcon board & HR if they let go Shamita on Viaan's personal request so easily without probing why, how & with whose backing she created such a big harassment scandal all of a sudden against CEO, by shaking core of the company & so many people involved.

What will Shamita get out of this false harassment case?

May be Shamita expected a short tempered Viaan to be raging like a bull to humiliate her, denying her false allegations blatantly against him.😡 She might have assumed Viaan will throw her out of office just like past, or he will come for compromise to buy her with some lump sum money offer,😛 which probably Shamita wanted to record & take it to media to create a much intense sob story scandal along with that indecent proposal phone message, plus to prove publicly how unsafe is this Earthcon work environment for women?

Shamita's motive can't be just revenge against Viaan (as he is now shown assuming in precap & bts) for firing her from job for hitting on him in his cabin few months back.😲 Her never happened sob stories narrated before internal committee with high usage of victim women card with bunch of lies, seems well planned. More to tarnish Earthcon market image, so that they lose both ongoing & new projects as already harassment case got leaked to an external client like Abdali it no longer remains internal matter.

But why? unless Shamita is a spy helping some Earthcon competitor like Anirudh who needs to destroy Viaan & his company for Pyramid's benefit, also because his ego got hurt for not winning new Lonavala project.

After losing job at Earthcon, what was Shamita doing all this time till she rejoined after Holi?How was she so confident to quickly threaten going to media, police, legal teams against Viaan as soon she created ruckus in office that evening?🤔 for this some sort of backing, influence, preparedness & financial support is also needed. It can't be her personal revenge against Viaan for rejecting her advances, feel its more professional & financial plus beneficial to Pyramid.

Let's see it this way..what if Viaan wants to settle the score with Shamita in his own way..like he may have gathered that Pyramid is behind the accusation and he wants Shamitha to be caught red handed..Just hoping

the makers to be more realistic.

exactly; I feel it is very sinister to compare the two and the points of fake harassment gets messed. what happened between viaan and katha is a deal between two consenting adults. if we are to go to lowest denominator, can we call it harassment when a man pays a woman for her time and she agrees to out of her own free will?

shamita used the process that is meant for real victims of harassment to defame someone and the company. it annoys me off that they are being compared the same because it confuses what harassment is and makes it even more murky.

I am glad I took the decision to put some distance between the drama and myself and be less involved in the forum for a while -- otherwise, I would be even more ticked off.

Just take it as a show only , if it's impacting you then take a break😊, I watch it for Viaan but I also don't like a puppy faced Viaan going after Katha , I liked the initial more reserved one better. If you see the OS i have written till now, I prefer the silent Viaan more but as per spoiler I see they are again making him go and ask Katha for a dinner date after all this .

Harassment and ONS are two different things. First of all he did not use his power of position for forcing her to sleep with him. No doubt his offer was horrible, you can abuse him for it but it cannot be compared with harassment at work. A woman came to him asking for money - loan you may say. He then offered her a deal, rejecting that offer would not have cost Katha her job. After the deal was done, he kept his distance from her when seeing she is getting uncomfortable, he backed off too.

May be our cultural sensitivities do not allow us to take it practically but in the end all they had that night was a deal. If you see Viaan's monologues, he himself says it. Harrasment at work is very sensitive issue and there are laws strictly placed even for wrong accusations. Here the person's image was tarnished in public among his friends, colleagues and his family and accusations were false. Forgiving her for this malicious intent is an injustice to all those who suffered around him for him as well.
