Meerab is the most misunderstood character of this drama.She is as real as it can get which is a rarity in the TV world, hence the annoyance and confusion from the masses I guess. It's unfair to keep comparing the Meerab we r seeing now to the fierce one that we witnessed in the initial episodes.C'mon a life altering event hit her in episode 4 and she has been trying real hard to stay afloat since then. She was hurt irrevocably when her foster parents didnt let her into the house that day and that abandonment has scarred her for life! Grief is neither neat nor linear and it doesnt follow any timelines either. She as earned the right to be irrational, to rebel, to become withdrawn, to feel empty no matter how wonderful Murtasim is.He has understood this and is being patient. His indifference towards her in the coming episodes will evoke a lot of emotions from her and her journey towards acceptance will begin. "He fell first but she falls harder"-- I guess this is what is in store for us! I love both these characters(maybe Meerab a tad more :)) and their journey. I am too invested in this journey(I repeat...JUST their jouney) of theirs as W and Y are so convincing in the roles of Mu and Me.
I wish they had roped in good side actors to make this a more complelling and a wholesome watch! I totally lost it with Haya in episode 3 and I've blurred her out since then for my own sanity :).I think its more to do with Sabeena's acting, just not able to tolerate her histrionics!
So here’s to Me and Mu , the characters we love/hate/need/know ! Sometimes they get on your nerves, but Terebin would be nothing without them!
**My biggest gripe is the screen time of the leads, both Wahaj and Yumna have been a golden goose for them and I wonder why they are not milking it!
