It's just that the lack of effort from Meerab's end is so glaring at this point. I'm not saying she's not putting in effort in the marriage. She's free to do that whenever she wants, or not do that - and that's her choice.

It's that she's not putting in effort to make her own life better, if she's feeling so caged and doesn't like it here. Now this is a situation she is in because of her 3 parents, and not because of Murtasim.

But she's made him the scapegoat and doesn't put in efforts to do damage control when there's a mess which she's partially responsible for. Just because he says it's his fault, it doesn't absolve her of behaving rudely (even when she's also wrong), the way she generally does, despite facing challenges in life. I get her and her issues, I totally do, but it's time she starts actively taking the reins of her life in her hands rather than throwing tantrums and just sulking 😔 That is all.

I think we like to see the starting phase of a relationship ( I heard a dialogue related to this in a K-drama) where we get to see the journey of the couple building the understanding, trust and respect. Here Meerab and Murtasim are in the starting phase of a relationship.
