Satya individually might be a worthy candidate but it was not clear from their words if he is even Ambas son or adopted.... there's no mention of father nor a male figure in the family.

As toxic as it is.... CN is a proper family with legally married husband wife pairs in respectable high ranking jobs.

P.S. one of the reasons I got hooked with Ghum is this.... Maharahstrians are usually shown as stupid and poor in Hindi films and shows. It's a very stereotypical depiction. Ghum was different... NC, Ninad, Sam and V all are Govt officials with desired positions. Omi handled business... on the surface it's a well to do respectable family.
