Maybe even ask Murtasim if he knew her mother, what a beautiful scene that would be. Murtasim trying to comfort her, he brings out the old family album to show her, him remembering some vague memories of his chachi telling meeru how much she looks liker her bio mother. Them reminiscing about their childhood.

What an absolute treat to watch that would be 🥰 That would also justify Murttasim's pure loyalty and Love to her !

3. He wouldnt have treated Haya like that in the initial epi

He has accepted meerub whole heartedly and that's y he is behaving the way he is.. Now everything related to her, affects him as well..Their behaviour towards each other is different from their behaviour towards others.. Even if she behaves rudely with him, he knows that's her way of expressing herself and it is only limited to him..

But as the audience, we are able to sympathize with him more, that's y he is being called a Saint..

He is a human with flaws just like meerub. But his experience is greater so he is able to act accordingly in situations and not impulsively.

I never said he was Saint or God! He is absolutely normal human being with his own set of flaws!

What is good about him is how he tries to balance out his relationship and responsibilities! And his support and devotion towards meerab given the circumstances of their marriage and rigidity from her side. It’s so refreshing to see Man trying to save his marriage. You don’t see such things on screen.

Strictly speaking, I don't view this show from the perspective of a feminist, because if I did, I would have stopped rooting for Murtasim and Meerab's lovestory the moment he slapped her.

And why should anyone of us accept she is wrong? I am just plain audience trying to draw inferences from the characters I am watching.

I am not talking about you bro, I haven't even read your posts. I was replying to my tags😲

Agreed!

@bold- this is the USP of this show.. A man has equal responsibility in making a marriage work.

True. However, I wonder why they're depicting Meerab as showing attitude to Maa Begum when she and Murtasim were leaving for Karachi. That hair flip and that smirk when Murtasim was trying to deal with the aftermath of the mess and telling his mom they'll be back in a few days 🤔

After all, Meerab is indeed responsible as much as Maa Begum is, for this pregnancy fiasco. It doesn't look like she's sorry for the part she played in hurting people around her and in mazaak banaana of their feelings. Chalo that's okay, I agree her 3 parents treated her really bad and her lashing out at them is fully justified, but what about Murtasim?

The writer is not doing the love story justice here. We all have understood that Murtasim is demi God. Now they should at least show Meerab feeling sorry for the position Murtasim is in today (him being sharminda in front of his mom), and him being hurt in all this drama, especially evident when he was feeding her the soup. What's his mistake that she fails to see the good in him? At least make her show genuine empathy and feeling sorry, if not care and saying sorry 😕
