I started watching TB coz I heard so many people saying it's resembling IPK. And it was till epi 20-21..Now it's going down the drain so fast 😔

Tere bin , the chemistry between the leads might be out of this world but only to someone who haven't seen it earlier in paki shows.. its limited to holding hands , occasional hug or standing close to each other ..global audience r exposed to much more so they don't bother..we're here for a good story but nowdays they center everything around the obsessive sideies or scheming MILs.. ..what's the point?, ..

Pardon me for the comparison but even if k dramas don't have any close scenes , the chemistry between the actors is so much visible . It's all about how they're presented ..

Comparison to ipk would be far fetched, that show was a diff level ..why can't paki writers write happy shows more often ? It's always rona dhona misunderstanding and obsession..to begin with I knew they can't write a romantic story.. they don't know what romance is . I'm not talking abt close scenes ..they refuse to show anything progressive in their characters.

What's new in tere bin is ml actually taking a stand for his wife against his mother ..but when the same ml acts dumb around his cousin obsessing over him, it dilutes his character ..

The fl is refreshing in a way that she doesn't care abt the patriarchy mindset ..first time may be they showed a rebellious heroine..but again her character is diluted when it comes to rohail ..the same girl is so smart when it comes to haya 😆She can read hayas intentions but not rohails.

I don't mind meerab taking her time to accept murtasim but I don't see any major reason for her to do so...I didn't see love blooming to be very frank..I dunno abt others but I find murtasims majnu avatar very forced , not natural...he was always against the marriage , he didn't like.meerab before marriage , she also presented the contract..what did he like in her and when did he fall in love with her ? I don't like the way its written..I can't read the writers mind what they're trying to convey.

How do I explain ? The natural flow to a story is missing

2. He wouldnt have fed Rohail the cake at Meerus bday party

3. He wouldnt have treated Haya like that in the initial epi

He has accepted meerub whole heartedly and that's y he is behaving the way he is.. Now everything related to her, affects him as well..Their behaviour towards each other is different from their behaviour towards others.. Even if she behaves rudely with him, he knows that's her way of expressing herself and it is only limited to him..

But as the audience, we are able to sympathize with him more, that's y he is being called a Saint..

He is a human with flaws just like meerub. But his experience is greater so he is able to act accordingly in situations and not impulsively.

YOU SAID IT

Murtasim character has scenes with his family he gets to play the role of an obedient son, where he is just Murtasim. He gets to play judge, jury and executioner as head of the village, and he becomes Khan Murtasim Khan. He also gets scenes with the help and his staff, where he is boss man. He is the loving, caring and romantic husband to Meerab, here he is just Meerab's Murtasim. He gets significant screen time in all these roles. He is a fully formed character we know who he is. But who is Meerab.

Who does Meerab have scenes with Murtasim and Harpie. She hates her parents, they deserve it too so she obviously can't be nice with them. Harpie is vile and Meerab stands up for herself with dignity and grace. We never get scenes of what exactly she does as judge at the panchayat, what are her decisions, she must be compassionate and wise right. We only got a few scenes with friends and she is a good, fun and loyal friend. Her patience with sticky notes shows that she is sorry that she unintentionally hurt him, since she is a kind person she wants to give him a second chance to get over her, is that so wrong. She doesn't recognize his behaviour as stalking. So our opinion of our whole character is based on what she she is like as a wife in a forced marriage. A woman isn't just a wife.

even in yesterday's epi , haya was so sure that they will call her back soon ...

But if I'm not wrong (correct me if i am) he hasn't let her confess her bakwas love once after his marriage with meerub!

And he's not even taking any bakwas badmouthing from her against meerub

Meeting a frnd is not my problem! But letting that friend bad mouth your spouse, even after he confessed his so called love even after knowing you're married, taking you home showing his 2 rupi sticky notes, confessing and trying to force you taking his love in consideration! Leave your spouse for him!

That is where the line should be drawn!

Agar rohail koyi normal frnd hota, uske ghar jane se bhi mujhe problem nahi hoti, so many people warned her about this rohail, her mother, her abbu stilll....stilll she went ahead with these tactics!

And behaviour ka to kya hi bolu...woh to humara permanent dukh!

1. She confessed her love on episode - 3

2. Asked Murtu to not marry Meerab in episode -6 or 7

3. Again confessed her love during their Mehandi

4. Said to him jo Mohabbat karta uski taraf dekhte bhi nahi ho.....then instigated him against Meerab. He then went on to have soup with her hands

4. Again instigated him against Meerab after accident and he believed her.

5. Let her choose kurta for him.

6. Didn't say a word about the Gajra thing to her.

7. Went with her to Gao.

8. She is always ready to feed him. Not seen Murtu taking a firm stand against this. Would he let any male behave the same with Meerab???

9. Was really close to her in Gao , if Rohail or any other guy was this close to Meerab, that person would be dead by now.

These things he has done after knowing her real intentions and feelings for him. She has already confessed to him , and he knows her intentions.

Meerab is going to meet Rohail for the first after knowing his intentions. The first time she met him she had no idea about his feelings.

Murtu is already way ahead in giving leeway to Haya. Meerab hasn't reached there yet with Rohail.... even after today she won't.

@Bold: Still doesn't justify his actions. Murtasim is wrong in this particular situation. By this time he should have choosen to be more firm with Haya like he was before marriage.

Things I learned from last nights episode

1) Murtu has become Saad. He had no self respect anymore and seems broken and I hate it. He really needs to put Meerab in her place. Yes faking pregnancy was stupid and he should have put a stop on it. He seems stupid and just plain Saad now . Please bring back Murtasim. I want see to the threats he gave meerab materialising now

2) Meerab has no brains. She also has no POV. So we don’t know what’s she’s thinking at all. Why is she going to Karachi? We don’t know. Why is she taking Murtu with her? Don’t know and we won’t. She had a mess and wasn’t allowed to apologize and showed no remorse. Also why is she mute? Always mute- she doesn’t tell MB you misunderstood me, she doesn’t tell. Anwar anything.

3) I wanted the soup scene to have real communication. But it was too short, too rushed and I felt nothing. Why can’t meerab talk? About anything?

4) doing black magic or hurting meerab physically in no big deal. Only when pota was potentially hurt was it a cause of concern. Haya is gonna be back soon. Really? She physically tried to hurt your dil, did black magic and it’s no big deal

5) Marium makes no sense. Congrats finally you fit in

6) no one gives a shit about Meerab.

7) Murtu only punches ppl who say they love his wife. Those who try to hurt her physically don’t even deserve a scene. Where is his protectiveness now? Sorry I forgot she’s his cousin

Haya’s scenes make me wanna cry.,

Meerub rarely delivered 3-4 dialogues in that whole 40-45 mins episode! And she's the MAIN FEMALE LEAD!

FAAAKKK OFF WRITER. ( As much as I'm greatful to her for bringing this story and murtasim...I'm just soo pissed on her dragging down her own fml like this, giving 0 monologues to her but giving haya the negative character her own pov and all)

Then that maafi wali baat, it would have showed a huge impact and also we would have got a more strong Base to support meerub , connect with meerub , agar mb se ek baar maafi mangte dekha bhi deti, kyu ki kahi na kahi mb ki saath meerub ne bhi is false pregnancy ko usne bhi barwava diya!

And maryum ka kya kahu haya ke liye usko bhi bigaar diya

Murtasim ko leke kuch na kehna aur I'm tired , selfless love agar isse kehte hein! Maaf chahti hun aise love se :)

Big disappointed with episode! And the story, characters....where its going and all!

Murtu wasn’t with Haya alone, listening calmly to her love confession, he told her off when she badmouthed his wife, but Meeru was giving Rohail points on which he can tell Murtu is wrong and I am not saying it was because she wanted to encourage him but because she wanted to feel good about her behaviour.

We accepted when Murtu was wrong, he too acted like a human being in Haya’s case when he knew how painful it is to be in one sided love and Meeru is not in love so it’s not like she feels Rohail’s pain and now we should accept that Meeru is wrong, we are justifying her acts because she is a woman🤡

I am sorry but no where do I justify her acts JUST because she's a woman. and even if I do, at some point, I will always uphold a woman in place of a man. And here, she's a woman with a backstory that I will always use to draw connect with her.

Strictly speaking, I don't view this show from the perspective of a feminist, because if I did, I would have stopped rooting for Murtasim and Meerab's lovestory the moment he slapped her.

And why should anyone of us accept she is wrong? I am just plain audience trying to draw inferences from the characters I am watching.

Did I miss something, where is the scene Saba is warning Rohail that Maurtism is looking for them? In the promo, when the door bells rings both Meerab and Rohail are surprised and don't know who it is.

I really think after this story Maurtism needs to give Meerab an ultimatum. Not, do you love me but more like if you don't feel like you can get there then tell me the truth and we will end it here. If she wants this relationship then she needs to start fighting for it.

I give the benefit of doubt to meerub in Rohail's case. Meerub doesnt know Rohail's obsession and stalking behaviour. She is sympathising with a friend who confessed that he loves her. But the moment she finds out about Rohail's true nature, she will treat him the same way she treats Haya. She respects the sanctity of marriage.

The lack of meerub's POV in the story is what created the mess. We are not able to see meerub past Murtasim's eyes.. Still hoping that this change and we do get see who meerub is other than being a wife.
