PC's sidelining began post 2013. Ranveer was having flop phase when he worked with PC in Gunday and Bajirao was a surprise success which saved his career.

Media was full of articles calling her woman who every star wife was afraid of.

She was not sidelined in 2012 but after reports of affair with SRK picked steam post Don 2.

Anushka was main lead in Dil ko dhadakne do. PC was not. She was paired opposite Rahul. Made sister of Ranveer. Deepika was main lead of Bajirao. PC was supporting role. She stole the show purely on basis of acting.

Being given side roles and media hounding her and losing big ads was sort of low phase and big stars like Akshay, Khans, HR were not really working with her post 2013.

Have you even seen the movie? Anushka had a 15 min role..PC was the main lead and just coz she played the sister of ranveer and not his love interest does not mean she wasn't the main lead..thats such a typical definition of the heroine from the 90s..the movie was all about the dysfunctional family centered around Anil, Shefali, Ranveer and PC..

But it’s actually coz she behaves rudely and obnoxiously with others, thinks too highly of herself, taunts people who do and don’t praise her publicly, picks fights with journalists in a press conference where she is promoting a movie , picks on literally every celeb, makes murder accusations on a hunch , has affairs with married men who are famous

u ruffle so many feathers then don’t blame people when they just do not want to put up with all that headache, just because you will give a good performance ….there are actress who won’t do all that nonsense and still give a good performance and they will be preferred ….

While pc was not on the same level of nasty as kangana and does show professionalism and talent , she also came with her own headaches (affairs and fallouts with married men) that some people may not have wanted to put up with in exchange for a good performance

Most employees will rather hire an amiable , disciplined but mediocrely talented person (coz mediocrity can improve) ….over an excessively talented but also excessively arrogant controversial person (coz this is difficult to change)….

Their business …their choice …
