Akshara was always confident when it came to Abhimanyu. The point was always that she was only confident when it came to Abhimanyu. Whether it be against Abhi or for him. From the Ruhi kaand, the confession jail episode, the first divorce drama and now the mandir scene. It is in front of her maternal family/in-laws that she swallows her tongue.
It is not because of Abhi's "toxic" love that she grew fierce. She changed her equation with Arohi pre-leap solely because of Abhi.
I am not against Abhinav-Akshara's legal marriage/rishta etc. Move on with whosoever you want. But as a viewer, I'm not going to diss the actual growth she had even before she met Abhinav. Abhinav was, is, will never be her strength because Akshara is not stronger now. She was always strong when she wanted to be. Like OG Akshara. She chooses not to retaliate against anyone except Abhi/Arohi sometimes for her own reasons. She showed him the mirror in the mandir scene. I loved her dialogues that day because a lot of it resonated with the viewers. Does she have the same chutzpah to show Abhinav that he was wrong for acting like he did with her in today's episode?
She has hidden her son from his father for 6 years who is battling for his life and instead of showing her pain and desolation, I'm being forced to see two fathers - biological and adoptive - battle it out as who is more connected to the child.
I know nothing about what she wants? Friend to husband in 1 day and not even a single monologue. I'm not saying it should be AbhiRa related or about guilt or anything. I'll take it even if she says "I like Abhinav and think I am falling for him." Bas. I know what everyone is thinking except for the actual FL.
I know we both are never going to see eye to eye on AbhiRa. You dislike Abhi's character and That's fine. But do you understand what I am saying? Like show me Akshara's DDP and not her consoling someone else. Her breakdown, her motherhood, her life.
And maybe custody will bring them closer. Good for them. But Abhir is Abhi's biological child - a child he was not told about. He has equal rights as Akshara on Abhir legally - more than Abhinav, even if he acted as his father, because the truth was hidden. All the law in the world cannot make Akshara lying about her son's biological father and his age, the right decision.
I want to case to go to court because what Akshara did was morally ambiguous, but legally wrong.
