Sarim “Chand” Gulzaar, your quintessential freelancing engineer, is the loverboy of your dreams. He is hardworking, independent, respectful and an absolute sweetheart. Throw in some good looks and you have the complete package.

Our Chand is fed-up with his crazy but loving joint family. Whether it is his crazy cousins or kooky uncles and aunts, all he craves privacy, solace and quiet. We feel ya, darling!

Enter Dr. Naintara “Tara” Jaafar, a wealthy, freethinking, individualistic doctor, specialising in gynecology. The only child of a doctor-turned-insurance head father and a strict and passively dominating mother, who, while legally married, are loving separately.

Our Tara’s fun-loving personality was curbed by her mother at a young age. She wishes to break the shackles of loneliness and live in a household with vibrancy and love.

Being old schoolmates, Chand and Tara fall in love at a later age and are very serious about getting married. However, Tara’s mother, Dr. Razia, is strictly against the “hooliganism” of Chand’s family and Chand’s profession. She wants a better match for her daughter, preferably (and only) a doctor.
