that’s the real challenge in this relationship. MM will never be aligned in their life goals - she with her free thinking and just upbringing- can’t understand the shackles of the feudal system and he - with all his obligations/ duties and also his feudal upbringing- can’t understand why his love can’t compensate for the lack of freedom that Meeru feels

that’s where the crux of the story and this is where the writer should have focused instead of Haya/Rohail etc but she chooses to ignore this just as she refuses to make meerab an actual character.

The story should have one of the clash and then how they manage to strike a balance.

Good question. Does he admire her courage? Other than the kidnapping track we never got to see her be courageous, and that didn't end well because he ultimately blamed her. They don't give Meerab any power moments where Murtasim can go woooooow that is my girl. I think the contract he was secretly proud of her. His gleeful look at the Nikaah was like Yeeaaaahhhhh I am marrying the right woman.

Future looks grim for Meerab she is going to need all the courage she got. We need to see Murtasim appreciating Meerab qualities, instead of saying he does but actually shows it with his actions.

He doesn’t himself hold her wrong more than he blames himself for what happens ! In fact when he leaves car he himself doesn’t sense much danger that’s why soft warning , had he known it was danger zone would he have stopped car there in first place ? She just wandered off to other side !
