I have the same problem with cousin marriages in pak dramas. Esp the one where the cousins who live in the same house. They grew up together calling each other Bhai bhehan. Even though i like CC more than SC i found the sudden change in relationship in CC more awkward than SC. In SC the leads were already married and we never saw any kind of siblings bond between them and even when they fought there was romantic chemistry but in CC for more than 10 episodes there was no romantic tension between meenu and faiz. Faiz treated meenu just like his sisters and meenu treated faiz the same way she treated Hadi. She literally shared the same equation with Hadi and fazi. It's like she could have been married off to kadu or hadi as well and it felt so wrong considering kadu and Hadi were over protective over meenu just like older brothers.

It was also the same in Ishq jalebi. They both grew up together in the same household and wahaj's mother raised madiha as her own daughter. It's like they had the same mother.

Thankfully in chand tara, leads ka door door se koi rishta nahi hai ek dusre ke saath.

How is salman's family living a lavish life when none of them seems to have an established career or business? They at maximum can be upper middle class but they look rich to me and Tara seems to be richer than them since her family owns the hospital. There are 5 men in the house and i guess only two of them works. None of the women works. Tiktok boy might be making decent amount from social media but is that it to run the entire household with so many members?

Sarim earns in lakhs from freelancing and developing softwares. TikTok apparently pays well in Pakistan and Hashir has some 8 mil followers so that makes sense. The three elders have one marriage band baaja business so I am guessing during wedding season they earn very well.

Madiha (younger one) has done lots of TV and this is also a comeback of sorts for her. She's worked with Danish before. This is them some 15 years ago 😆

Usually the mother/saas is a matriarch and the daughter/bahu has either given up studying/working or is wanting to be independent but can't coz of house rules.

Its surprising how much both Chand and Tara's families could easily fit in Mumbai suburbia.

I think thats true for Razia.

But Tara does crave for that companionship, not for money but for a certain type of support which only a significant other can provide.
