Nope.. can't tolerate Dhara bhabhi's mahanta act daily. Here at least Patralekha is absent in many scenes. But Dhara bhabhi intrudes on every scene. Too much toxicity for my liking.

It seems almost hypocritical coming from me - I honestly ship Abhimanyu-Akshara from Rishta and really want them to get back together.

But somehow SaiRat has literally ended for me. I'm not active on Twitter, but just going by the earlier interviews and SO MANY instances where Virat has simply failed Sai, Satya seems like a breath of fresh air. Maybe because the Rishta drama happened in a week and things just spiralled while the PakRat triangle has been going on for 2.5 years and Virat is still the same.

The writers should know to not butcher the ML so freaking much that the entire fandom, save for a small proportion, just wants to see someone else on screen. I have rarely seen so much hatred for the ML except Jagiya from Balika Vadhu.

And the offscreen dynamics make the neutral fans gravitate more towards the newer ship. Like I don't ask for much, but will Virat EVER be stern with his pyaari cheez? We've see Abhimanyu roasting Arohi so many times, Atharva roasting Chinni, PS guys fighting with Shweta - all MLs have at some point countered the vamp head on. Except for Virat, who for 2.5 years has not managed to squeak in front of the antagonist of the show.

Also think that along with the story, acting plays an important role. Harshad Chopda, Harshad Arora, Kunwar Dhillon, Fahmaan Khan, Barun Sobti, etc have great screen presence. You empathise with them when they weep/are guilty. NB is weak there - maybe just the acting or the acting plus the off screen content - slowly makes it harder to like the character.

Either they'll have to make Satya negative or NB really needs to pull up his socks if people have to root for Sairat because HA eats him up on screen. Online audience mostly dislikes NB-ASB antiques while offline audience only cares about Sai. Where do PakRat stand in this euqation, they'll have to figure out.

I was one of the few people who liked Dhara-Gombi as a couple more than Shiv-Raavi. 😆 Their pre-leap scenes, when the brothers were kids, were so wholesome and they had good chemistry.

But Ghum ke baad, it has been hard for me to find anything else toxic. In my mind I just go, isse zyada toh nahi hoga na? And answer is always a resounding YES. 😆

Dhara bhabhi was ok to a point. But for sometime now, she is everywhere, doing everything. She's giving tough competition to Anupamaaaaa. At least in Ghum, all the main characters get to do something. There only Dhara bhabhi does everything.

At least she knows ki galati ho gayi. They also have Rishita there to give her a genuine dose of reality once in a while. Not like Nalla who has no idea 10-12 saal mein, what mistakes he has made, and is the character with the "saddest life." 🤣

She is Jagatmaata. 😆 The point is that Ghum has Sai, who is positive, Virat who is "a shade of grey I have never seen" and the others are mostly negative-ish. Easier to show all of them messing up all the time.

PS has all positive characters - Shweta was the first out and out negative character they added to the show. So everyone needs to mess up and phaila hua raita uthaane ko Dhara bhabhi is needed. The narrative is clear - she is the one to give up her "fertile years" and "motherhood" to be a mother figure to the brothers and their wives. It's same with most versions of PS.

It's irritating, but the show has positivity that most SP shows lack now. Most just have DDP and the leads crying. Give me some Sasural Genda Phool, IPKKND, Shararat, DMG, MJHT laughter on screen!

Ghum always had issues with pace, execution and detailing be it any track.

Virat was good during GC days and also MiMo track.

Baki they have dragged and made a fool out of him.

My only point for this track and why I find Virat particularly annoying -

Everything is out in the open. He knows what Pakhi has done. Can he be decisive atleast now?

Why meddle in Sai's affairs when clearly Pakhi has done so much damage?

Pakhi has done this after V cried to her. And he knows this.

The more he tries to side with Sai the more Pakhi will make things difficult.

And he has understood this very well. But no. He will do what he has to do.

Satya as a character was shown to be loud and OTT - not to my liking.

I like Harshad. And I think Harshad Ayesha will make a good pair - be it in Ghum Or any other show.

I'm still not sure about Satya where he stands.

If Ghum has made surrogacy a laughing stock what can one expect in investigation?

And frankly, majority or (at least few) non-Sairat shippers wanted a break from Pakhi Virat crap and the cringe triangle that has now become a circle.

If people get a new hero to ship what's wrong with it?

And I'm not even covering up for Satya. I'm still not much convinced with his characterisation or his family's and that's also the reason I'm not posting any reviews.

I like his one-liners. That's it.

Virat gets bashed more because he is the so called ML of the show and very well established character. Till the show ends, this will be the reality.

I don't know what they plan to do with Satya. But if he's to stay, he'll always be called as the second lead or parallel lead.

Everything aside, the way they showed Sai's MBBS journey, it also looks like some unconvincing magic. Kuch samjha hi nahi 5.5 saal kaise gaye with Pati, Patni aur woh.

With the precaps and promos it is clear that they will be rushing. And there's some drama planned here. As Sinmegh said - it may be highly psbl that Sai loses this case.

We don't know what's next.

So it will be illogical to find any logic here. I've long given up on the storyline and execution. Otherwise I was pro-V but the drag has killed it for me.

Dhaba scene was entirely out of the box for me.

And with the BTS I actually had thought Satya drops Sai home from hospital as it is late night.

What they showed was 🤐

But again TRP audience won't give 2 hoots before increasing the TRP.

They'll continue to show what they are showing till they get numbers.

I found VC rude in GC too as well as Sai.

My opinion is totally different though. Dhara may not be an out and out negative character, but is the root cause of all problrms in that show. And this version has done complete injustice to the og show. There has been way too much negativity in that show too. It has become too toxic, with even kids lives getting messed up. And the offscreen drama there is at par with Ghum. Anyways all of us have different opinions on this matter. I don't think we should discuss more about another show here.
