The whole drama didn't make sense. Saba beeating around the bush for 20+ episodes, being fooled, nobody believing her. Then in alst episode she suddenly became Sherlock😆
That has to do with the writer zanjabeel Asim Shah. She seems to have weird obsession with her negative characters. They will be winning for 30 episodes and in the last 2 episodes all the good characters will suddenly have brain cells and defeat the villain.
She is the writer of balaa, cheekh and pyaar ke sadkey and all 3 dramas had the same format. She likes to make her postive characters suffer as much as they can. Bilal in balaa, saba in cheekh and yumna in pks were either dumb or oblivious or helpless for 90% of the drama only to be magically get the strength and intelligence to fight back in the last two episodes 🤣
I now stay far away from her dramas.
Those who have watched it when it got aired, for us it was a torture 😑
Ushna's character was a chudail

It's fun when it's binge watched. I am sure that drama might have increased the blood pressure of audience that followed it weekly. 🤣

Alhamdulillah. I quit it after few episodes. 😃 It was super depressing. And I also bingwatched Cheekh for I couldn't quit it, because I liked the chemistry between Emaad and Saba.. and Bilal did a different role which was interesting to watch.😃 Still , I skipped many episodes after Emaad's death.🥺
I am a big fan of Bilal and he was superb in Baala, and the show was intriguing to me😆 and Ushna was a comic relief, she didnt bring out any extreme reaction by her negativity bcs her acting was meh and kind of funny😆 and i loved the conflicts happening btwn the brother sis,bcs both the sisters and the mother were amazing in their roles and felt really really bad though when the little sis died😒.
Her acting was good, but the character was damn annoying
Actually everyone acted so well in that show. Especially samina pirzada❤️

Her initial dramas were really good. She wrote some masterpieces. Only the recent ones became toxic. Balaa was by far the more traumatic.

I fast forwarded a lot when i watched balaa. The saving grace of balaa is the last 2-3 episodes when Bilal starts planning and plotting 😆
I also skipped a lot of episodes of cheekh and mostly only saw saba and bilal's scenes. I also agree emaad and saba look great together. Why are they not cast again together.
