Meerub with Ashir landed on the Hyderabad Airport who was looking at everything and questioning his mother about the same. But his mother was lost somewhere which irritated him.
"Mama, why alen't you listening to shil", [why aren't you listening to shir] He asked to his mother who comes out of her thoughts.
"What is it Baby?", Meerub questioned him.
"Which place izz this?", He looked at his mother for an answer.
"This is Hyderabad, Pakistan", She replied with a smile.
"Ohh, so you wele boln hele?", Ashir questioned which was enough to stop his mother on her place. What will she answer? That yes, but no body accepted her.
"You will show me all youl favoulite places", Ashir looked upto his mother with so much hope but his mother has no answer to any of his questions. How can she shows him this place about which she really knows nothing.
But she was saved from replying as they reached out of the airport and her eyes fell on a man who was holding her name card. And she holds Ashir hands and went to him.
"Kya aap Meerub Khan hai?", [ Are you Meerub Khan?] The man asked when an unknown women approached him and she nods at him.
"Ji, toh kya aap hai jinhe hotel walon ne appoint kiya hai?", [ Yes and you are appointed by the hotel management] She asked the man who looked nervous when she said hotel but before he could reply the little boy beside her caught her attention.
"Mama, what langage izz thish?", [what language is this?] Ashir asked unable to understand the language, even though he has heard few words from his mother but never understood them.
"Chale Madam ji", [Let's go Ma'am] The man said and Loaded Meerub's luggage in the trunk then opened the door for her who sat inside with Ashir. She really has a bad feeling about this and this became true after an hour when she saw the familiar roads.
"Nahi, please Nahi jo mai soch rahi hoon woh sach na ho bas", [No, please No It can't be true] She prayed to her god that she is wrong this time. She can't go there, she can't.
The car took another familiar turn and now she knows that her fear is coming true. But what she has ever done to deserve this? And Ashir? What will happen to him? Now, she can only hope that she won't meet him or any of them during her stay and she will make sure to complete her work in few days as she can't take the risk of staying here for so long.
"Bhaiji, woh hotel ka naam kya hai?", [what's the name of hotel?] She questioned the driver pulling her baby towards her who was sleeping to calm her nerves. He is her anchor and now she needs him more than ever.
"Hotel nahi hai Madam ji, woh Khan Saab ne aapke rehne ka intazam unki haveli par hi kiya hai", [There is no hotel Ma'am, Mr. Khan has made arrangements for you at his home] He replied giving her the biggest shock ever.
"Khan Saab? Matlab Murta... Nahi, Nahi yeh nahi sakta hai", [ Mr. khan? Means Murta... No, It can't happen] In Panick she tightened her hold over Ashir who woke up with the discomfort and before she could understand anything or calm her baby who was crying due to lack of sleep, the car stopped and she looked outside and her face paled looking at the house before her.
"Aajaye Madam ji", [ Come Ma'am] The driver said and came out of the car to open the door for her and she looked at Ashir who calmed down after seeing that they have reached.
"Ashir, Don't come out of the car. Okay?", She instructed her son who made a face at his mother's ridiculous demand.
"Why?", He demanded with a serious face which looked like his father and that's the reason she does not want him to come out. He looked like his father and they will not take more than a second to identify him.
"Because I said so", Meerub sternly looked at her son who looked unfazed and hurriedly comes out of the car leaving him beside and instructed the driver to keep an eye on him and she will return soon cause she won't stay here.
Murtasim and his family is standing in the garden to wait for the lawyer about whom they don't know anything and he has made arrangements for her stay here as he doesn't wants her to feel uncomfortable in an unknown city and she will need his help for almost everything so he thinks it's best if she stays there. They straightened themselves after seeing the car coming inside the gates.
Murtasim's heart was beating very fast since the morning, he can feel it in his bones that something is about to change in his life but what? He has no answers and after seeing the car he became more restless but composed himself. He saw driver opening the door and a lady comes out in business suit but her face was covered with her hairs.
The khan family got the shock of their lives after the lady turned towards them. She is Meerub, their Meerub who suddenly went MIA and they are seeing her after almost 4 and half years. Anwar's eyes turned teary after seeing his daughter in front of him after so long and Maa Begum's condition was no less.
Murtasim looked like he forgot to breath but the truth is totally opposite as now he can freely breath, his Meerub is in front of him. His wife whom he was waiting for like a madman is finally here, he finally got the chance he wanted for years. Meerub looked at her so called family and ex-husband, it took almost everything of her to calm her nerves but she composed herself as she can't afford to stay here for long, she will talk to him and then will go away from here to find a hotel, a safe place for her where she can keep her secret safe.
"Hello, Mr Khan", Meerub extended her hand to Murtasim after reaching in front of him but he was still looking at her, lost in his thoughts.
"Meerub", Anwar and Maa Begum whispered and was about to move Forward when she took a step back and they stopped themselves.
"Mr Khan", She said in a little loud voice to break his trance and this time she succeeded in her efforts.
"Meerub", Murtasim whispered in a heavy voice full of guilt and love but she shook her head at him and further took a step backwards which was enough to hurt him and he looked at her with teary eyes.
"It's Ms. Khan for you", She said in a voice which clearly meant business and Anwar smiled at this as she finally accepted him as her father and is using his name.
"Okay Ms. khan. Come with me, I will show you your room", Murtasim replied her in the same tone, he knew he need to take it slowly, he finally got a chance to rectify his mistakes, to redeem himself and he won't waste it.
"Actually that's what I wanted to talk about. I can't stay here so I am sorry for the inconvenience. I will go and find a hotel for myself. Thank you.", She completed in a hurry without giving him a chance to speak and turned to go to her car only to get another shock.
Ashir, being her mother's son could not sit in the car just because his mother said so and specially when such a beautiful house with a beautiful pool in front of him so just as the driver went to pick his call, he hurriedly came out of the car to surprise her mother.
"Mama", Ashir after seeing his mother looking at him called her in a cheerful voice and run towards her.
Murtasim who was about to go inside after Meerub turned to left as he doesn't wants to take any risk regarding her, he will handle her patiently but stopped at his place after listening a kid's voice and turned to see a kid running towards his Meerub, wait did he call his Meerub as Mama. Has she moved on in her life, before he could overthink he heard his mother's voice.
"Murtaism", Maa Begum whispered still stunned at the happenings of today but what she saw now has to be biggest shock of her life and she looked at Anwar who has same expressions as her on his face and they both turned to look at the Meerub who is now hugging this kid close to her heart.
"Mama, why you left shil?", Ashir complained to his mother after coming out of her embrace.
