Her enemy is not her ego. her problem is her sense of justice. They stole something from her and she wants it back. It is not her ego that is stopping her form accepting murtaism it is her sense of morality, she was wronged and she wants justice first before she can allow herself to be happy. You think she wants to live like this, the constant battle with her head and heart. I bet she is just as exhausted and wants respite.
Even when in love her ego banner will fly high and mighty never fear. She is not losing that edge.

@BOLD: Yes. It is his mom after all, who he does respect, even if he doesn’t agree with her. His shoulders are drooping already - they are building up to that day :( I HATE to say it, like really hate to say it, but now I really feel/get it when he said that he felt bad for Haya, because he understood how that one-sided love can feel so helpless. I guess, Meerab is starting to succeed in making him feel a little of what she feels. Helpless. (Except, ironically, they don’t know/see the extent to which they are and will be each other’s greatest help.)

But ok…on a positive note…I am going to focus on the soup. The soup is symbolic. She is still broken and healing, and he will help heal her. Just like the necklace, he said, even if I break it I will put it back together.

Yes she was wronged, this is why i liked what murtasim said in-front of the elders. They were all equally to be blamed. But my question is “what is justice for her? Separation? Let her go to karachi and study law? Does she even know what she wants anymore? I wish the writer wrote about her inner turmoils. Maybe we will get to see this in the coming episodes.
