That lady said that it does not matter if Shamita calls Viaan instead of her claim of Viaan reaching out to her to get the job. Really that shows that Shamita was lying in her statement, wasnt that a big deal for them but a message from his phone when he clearly says he was out of his cabin and has no idea where his phone was is taken as serious evidence.

I feel that katha is unconsciously thinking shamita is saying the truth:

1. shamita is a woman and it is difficult for women to speak up and therefore, any woman who speaks up is telling the truth 🙄

2. viaan made an offer to her and therefore, he would have also made it to other women as well -- projecting her own experience.

like others have mentioned, it shows that both viaan and katha need a time out and I hope viaan keeps his distance from her after this...

this is why we need live wire type emotional drama. for some reason, the makers are obsessed with keeping scenes muted and that only highlights more the lack of flow. I would rather take high live wire drama because I would at least not fall asleep.

so here is what I think the makers were trying to do:

1. katha thinks she is over the one night stand because she compartmentalized it and also made peace with viaan

2. because she thinks she is over it, she thinks she is okay to take part in committee and agrees.

3. however, during the process, she starts to be reminded of what happened and starts to experience a volley of deep emotions. she is experiencing contrasting emotions that is leaving her more and more confused. she looks at viaan and she does not know what she is supposed to feel. she is scared and overwhelmed

this is what we should have been shown - then her being biased would have made more sense from an emotional perspective. instead, it is always muted and she just stares into space and we are just supposed to deduce how she feels and feel for her position. 🙄🙄🙄

to be honest, I disliked this scene -- why?

because the only person doing the talking is viaan and we have no idea what she feels about this fictional viaan. does she have any reaction to those thoughts? zero, except a blank stare. is she repulsed? is she mad? does she agree with him? does she feel sorry for him? nothing, nada!

all we get is deep internal thoughts from viaan always -- he is the multifaceted charcter. katha has not grown and continues to be rather one dimensional FL and we don't even know what she thinks half the time on key moments.

He was so good here looking also so handsome .The lighting is always so good in such scenes

am not sure how I feel -- mixed feelings.

I think they had a good start..... and then dropped the ball.

I am still cheesed off by the stupid wardrobe -- it sounds minor but it drives me nuts. I get the arch aesthetics they were trying to convey and I feel the wardrobe needed to be aligned with those themes to be a good match -- have posted in arch thread an example.

I still feel the lack of high wire emotion is a problem; they seem to not want to be EK show which is fine but there is a reason EK shows do well. we like high drama and we enjoy it. being so muted and subtle on emotional scenes is strange and just makes viewers fall asleep. it also doesn't translate because the wounds are deep and that lends to high wire emotions -- no one is muted and subtle in such scenarios. there is a reason we have the saying -- "roar like a wounded animal".

I feel that these are not small quibbles but reflects in the forum as well which has been immensely quieter these last few weeks. we are still in the same DT!!!! previously we would zip through a DT in less than week at times. thats how much we chatted. so yea, it is nice they got award but not good if they don't improve on these flaws.

I started to watch the show for katha... But now I'm beginning to hate her... Instead I stand with Viaan... He's true but somehow can't get out of this mess...

But I wish that once he getsout of this .. He starts to avoid katha... That lady doesn't deserve a person like him ..

Also, keith call was on hold... So, don't know how this matter is going to get sorted out.
