I don't watch tamil movies anymore either. I saw Ponniyin Selvam in theatres and the whole time I was like what the fudge is going onnnnnnnn. I saw Varris I couldn't stand it, I was FF so much it was shorter than TB episode.

It's hard to get subtitles for old Malayalam movies. That's why I asked.

Revathy, urvashi and shobana have such amazing list of great Malayalam movies under their belt. Shobana is my favourite among the 3.

I don't remember the name of most of the Tamil movies from the 80s and 90s i have seen.

My fav Tamil actors are kamal Hassan, madhavan and Vikram. Vikram also used to act in a lot of Malayalam movies at the start of his career. I don't watch the action masala movies done by Vijay or Ajith. The only movies of Vijay and Ajith i have seen are the ones from the early 2000s. Then i have seen a lot of mani ratnam movies which had those iconic ar Rahman songs.

I also used to like some of jayam ravi's rom-com movies he did at the start of his career. The one with Genelia D'Souza is my fav😆

During my mother's teenage and college years kamal Hassan used to do a lot of Malayalam movies with top directors. Infact i guess he was more prominent in the Malayalam industry than Tamil at that time She used to have a huge crush on him😆.
