Man, what a roller coaster this show is 😂 Come in to the episode like a khushi bachhi lamb, and come out like a lion roaring at the stupidity/heartlessness of one or more characters.
Not going to lie, I am really having a problem connecting to Meerab as the episodes pass. Theoretically, I get why she is acting the way she is. It’s just that I think the show could have used some more primary episodes to establish her character a little more to set us up for her actions later on. On the one hand it’s trying to show that she’s a good, kind hearted person who has been wronged. But then she yells SHUT UP to her maid, and treats Murtasim like he has no real value some times, and I want to yell, YOU HAD MORE COMPASSION FOR NAILA who you barely know!!! I keep telling myself that these are her hurt reactions, but why do I have to do the telling? Even Haya has more explanations and monologues for her actions!!!
Also, I know people have varying opinions on this. Here is mine: NO WAY IN HELL would I be ok with my husband meeting up with an old friend who declared her love for him and wanted to propose, ring and all. So from that perspective, Meerab is a LOTS OF BAD WORDS for continuing to indulge. If she wants to leave Murtasim, leave him and at least give him the dang respect of doing that before you traipse around with Rohail. Rohail is not just a friend at this point. Apparently, Waqas says she was raised better, and although he is generally useless, he’s probably right about this.
But of course, THIS is what creates the masala, misunderstanding, angst etc. as others have noted. So, I will burn slowly hahaha. Looking forward to Rohail’s demise and how the story unfolds!
