But how can Murtasim make such err and then I was Yumna is foreign educated so she would have definitely corrected so they couldn’t have missed it.

So I did bit of research

Basically, the word ‘can‘ is used when someone has the ability to do something, or when you are allowed to do something
On the other hand, may is used to discuss possibility or happenings in the future. It is also used when you want to take or give permission for doing something.

So u know now why he used can and not may!

And I think I will think 1000 tiles from now on before using Can or May🤔🤔🤔

We have TBA telepathy

I will put my overanalyzing hat on which never takes a break.

'Can I' was a deliberate use over 'May I'. May means asking for permission, Can means ability. Murtasim wasn't asking for permission, he has the ability to make her wear the ghajras and he damn well wasn't going to stop even if she says No.

She was in a mood over that harpie, she could have been all Meerabish (thanks Winter for this word) and said get lost, by not asking for her permission he doesn't give her a choice to refuse him from showing his affections for her, because he knows best. Remember Meerab said she will never love him so it is up to Murtasim to make this marriage work. Some have argued he is too much in love too soon after marriage, because a loveless marriage is not in neither of their best interest, especially not meerab. Despite her defiance that she can live like a snow queen forever, he knows better, the sooner she accepts him the sooner her wounds in her soul will heal. The first time he sees her genuinely smiling after their marriage in the car he was at peace, and he can't blame her for running after baby goats despite the disaster it caused because he can never deny her joy regardless of the consequences. He even ate the poisoned fish to amuse her. He wants his girl ultimately to be healed, happy and whole.

We didn't see what he said to her to convince her to go out with him that night, she had to wear a saree, she had to get all dolled up, how did he convince her to do all that? If he waited for her mood to get OK, or for her to come to him first then this relationship is dead. He is still a gentleman at heart so he will never behave like a scoundrel. But this marriage is his test to pass not hers, so he has to make strategic forceful pushes without crossing the line of consent. Her purpose is to resist him and he has to get her out of that zone by hook or by crook. That is why I believe he is using Haya to rattle her cage, and when she peaks out of her self built emotional prison he gets on the offensive. When anger clouds Meerab judgement he must step up to protect her in spite of herself.

He was like this before marriage too. In the first car accident, she had hurt her hand, he was quick to ask what happened. She was being all Meerabish (thanks Winter), he just ignored her bitchiness and continued to stare concerned at her injured hands. The infamous slap, he stopped her from fleeing why because she had just crashed the car the day before and he was stopping her from harming herself again. He was unnaturally controlling in that scene, his whole demeanour was I dare you to get past me. He was protecting her against her will, he knows best. In that context if you look at the slap, he had to go against his own morality and use violence to stop her from hurting herself and to calm her down.

After marriage he took notes he will never repeat that slap mistake again, but regardless he will stop her from getting in her own way. You could say that this powerful instinct of his is one of many reasons why he signed the contract and married her, regardless of the embarrassment he must face, it will be nothing compared to the humiliation she will face, he was protecting her from herself (example watch MPHT what society does to a woman). That is why I am curious to see how he will react about the contract getting leaked, will his anger stem from there you go she has done it again, in naivety or in anger she has harmed herself and now he has to clean up the mess to protect her.

Aiyooooooooo i wrote another bloody essay. I was only going to write like 10 lines. TereBinism is killing me.

I guess Meerab telling RoTall about the contract isn't out of character for her, since she has been telling the enemy pixie a little too much about her marriage. But I doubt even if Meerab didn't say anything Haya would have stopped with her moves.

Yes Murtasim isn't just her husband, he is her anchor right now, her home. So her being jealous of Haya isn't just about losing a husband, but also losing her home all over again. She has lost her identity the one she was very proud of which was her source of self esteem, but now all she has is being Murtasim's wife, what if that is taken away from her too, what and who will she be, that fear is causing her to lash out. Murtasim stature and esteem feeds Meerab's lost pride, after all who doesn't want to the king's bride especially his chahath. She told behaya in that gajra scene he chases me he desires me he loves me, it was more than just a taunt to piss off that pixie, Meerab feeds of Murtasim desire for her to rebuild her lost self. She is seeing herself through his eyes only, because she doesn't see herself anymore. Those two scenes during the contract signing scene where she says I only see you now and when Murtasim asks her during the date do you even see yourself and she has this lost look, but he does he sees her. But the question is does he see her in the image he wants her to be, or does he see her in the image she is proud to be?

The bottom line is I think once her marriage with Murtasim is on a more stable footing, once they both know for sure this marriage is for keeps they can have the more difficult conversations. Yes we love each other we want to stay married but what next. Hopefully his love is not all about consuming her whole existence and there will be room for her own separate identity.

Your way with words... 😳

Meerab is desperately (yes) searching for her own identity amidst just being her husband's wife. From whatever help he's giving her, by signing the contract, beginning the marriage on her terms, waiting for her consent, caring for her whilst handling all the tantrums she throws in her impulse, taking in her wistfulness, he is giving her the time to step up slowly, and find her footing. Whether he will stop her when she accepts him as her husband, or will he go a step further, and nurture her identity beyond that, is something that will shape their story.

PART 1 WHAT IS LOVE TO MM

Subverting Expectations Episode. Thumbs up Creatives.

Guys 2 conclusions after this episode Tere Bin is really a dark comedy, and Murtasim is not an angry young man character.

But the single biggest mystery of TB, why Murtasim and Meerab phones don't ever work for each other, please MM check if you stored each others numbers correctly. Forget the hug forget the kiss TALK ON THE BLOODY PHONE.

Anwar is saying the right things to Meerab but it lacks the warmth of a father. Was he doing her a favour by giving her a character certificate, sounded more like he was showing off see how much faith I have in you now come give me a hug? No pops No it doesn't work like that. I don't know what will have to happen to change this dynamic, but it is reality you cannot enter a girl's life at 25 and become her father, especially in the cruel circumstances in which Anwar did it.

The village sequence highlighting the differences in character between Haya and Meerub, Meerab Queen and Haya PixieBin. Haya in her own little lalalala psycho world, doesn't care too shits about the tragedy around her. Meerab the lady of the house takes charge, puts her personal grievances aside, calls doctor, comforts Nyla and is thinking about how best to help her.

How can Murtasim mistake Pixie for Meerab, I said I wouldn't make fun of Sabeena height, but seriously how can one confuse Yumna stature with Sabeena. Ignore ignore ignore ignore Murtasim stupidity here. Dr.ophthalmologist has to get his own eyes checked first before he can diagnose others.

I am going to pretend Dr. Murtasim ophthalmologist scene didn't happen. PEACE IN OUR TIMES.

The scene when pixie comes to clear the misunderstandings, Meerab never looks at pixiebin, she quickly glances at Murtasim and she stares fixedly at the ground. Symbolic if a marriage is in trouble it is not about the third person, it is about the two of you, all Meerab heard blah blah blah blah blah. I might have heard the same thing toooo my fingers were in my ears who knows what she said.

These two and their double speak, Meerab is talking about herself through Nyla.

Murtasim's surprise 'kyun', 'ohhhhhhh you want to leave me do you', and his stern stare down 'you are not going any where'.

Meerab retaliates with her own 'kyun' back and then she finally looks up at him, 'tell me one good reason why I shouldn't leave your sorry ass'.

Ok jump to the confrontation I liked this scene, but it ended abruptly. Meerab said how can I move forward with you when you break my trust, Murtasim is anguished, is he losing her even before he had her. In panic he says I love you, he said it quietly like a whisper just for the two of them to hear, contrast that to what he said about Meerab when she confesses her love world will hear. This highlights the differences in their characters journey towards love.

Murtasim never struggled to accept this marriage, because he didn't lose anything except conjugal rights. And since he was the first to accept he has romantic feelings for Meerab, love was just the next emotional step. There was no single point where he said aahaaaa I love her now, he realized his affections for her in the dargah with ease and ever since then his love has only grown fore her and it will continue to grow. The pain he felt was she going away from him, not that he was going towards her. When Murtasim first said 'I love her' to Anwar it was just a matter of fact and there was no grand public declarations. This 'I love you' from him to her only to hear and believe in, he doesn't need to say it to rest of the world they/we already know.

For Meerah falling in love with Murtasim is painful, because this marriage is a struggle for her. Loving Murtasim means she is betraying herself, loving him means she has forgiven those that have lied to her whole life, destroyed her dreams, stole her identity and sentenced her to this forced marriage. Her resistance against him is her fight against this betrayal by her former/new loved ones. She is a character who has a strong sense of justice, when she can fight for others fiercely how can not take a stand for herself. She feels guilty maybe even ashamed of her growing feelings for him, is she becoming one of those bechari naris just a typical biwi who just accept the lives that is forced upon them.

She can't let go of her pride easily when she so haughtily declared she will never love him. She is fighting 3 battles, this marriage was not her choice, her adopted parents betrayal, her biological father neglect. She has lumped all these betrayals in one category and in her mind it is me against them. The moment she realizes that this marriage was her destiny they didn't force him on her, she choses him instead and now it is us against them. She will then shout out her feelings not just for the world, but for herself more as she acknowledges her bane is a blessing, as for as Murtasim goes he would already know. He has understood her even before she realizes herself.

Murtasim falling in love is a calm spring breeze.

Meerab falling in love is a storm.

Her I love you for him is a personal and public acceptance of his value in her life.

His I love you is for her ears only to believe in and cherish.

Hindi Dramas have corrupted my mind we have grand scripted declarations of love of cartoonish proportions. Now if anyone simply says I love you, my brain is like where is the cinematic background music, where is the wind and the rain, where is flying saree, where are the kisses and hugs, where are the flowers, where is the damn champagne.

Episode 25

They left many open ends in the episode.

First was the confrontation, they cut it unnecessarily, is Mai so dumb at this age that she doesn’t understand that a couple need privacy?? They could have shown Nyla’s truth in the morning but why Mai went and disturbed a couple? What’s with everyone in the show to not give privacy to Meerasim?? No one barges in MB’s room, Anwar’s room, Mariam’s room?? Is there no protocol for the heir and his wife?? Is the writer so frustrated on lack of privacy in her personal life that she is telling everyone off through Meerasim.

But it also highlights one thing, Haya’s dialogue ki tum yaha na hokar bhi har jagah ho, is not only for Murtasim’s love but the love house helps has for Meerub, the trust they has on her. The way Meerub left everything on hearing about Nyla is the difference between her haya, haya will always choose herself over others and Meerub will always choose others over herself. Do you all still think that Meerub is an immature person? Cause no immature person will ever do that. Meerub has once again won my heart with her selfless love👏

That’s why MB never wanted Haya as Murtasim’s wife as well. Murtasim fell for not only a strong girl but a girl who has a soft heart as well, a perfect person to rule beside him, who not only rules on the land but hearts as well❤️

Next loose track was the reason Murtasim went to the village, he went there to find the culprits, to punish them, to teach everyone a lesson but it doesn’t happen and Murtasim went back to kitchen politics. He really needs lesson on how to balance his professional and personal life🤪

Next open end track was pregnancy, Not only Meerub but Murtasim too left it on Haya to find out the truth, which she did but I have a doubt that Murtasim will say they have already forgotten about contract and now Meerub is pregnant so it doesn’t matter and this brings me to the precap where haya pushes Meerub off the stairs, will they show a miscarriage? And if yes then please someone tell me MB will punish Haya for this crime, where her future heir dies due to Haya’s Behayai, and Murtu will punish Haya as she put Meerub’s life in danger with her this stunt😡

And for Rohail they are going to Karachi to put a stop on this track, there are high chances that consummation and separation will happen in Karachi only.

Lols i have lost of words kal ki confrontation k bad as writer is in own world so i just curious and want to know how the plots unfold and will balance... About the meerub character yes she is like that murtasim also want someone like her who have the ability to fight for right and wrong... As i said before murtasim want to change the system he want to take decisions in a way that no one suffer .. bt for that he need his companion who can stand with him with his decision... As maa begum is like an old one she may take decisions in old light ....

LOVED LOVED READING THIS

I am saving this post

Nothing more to add. This spontaneous whispering confession was worth more than all the grand declarations of love I have watched over and over again. It happened as quickly as the situation demanded. She needed to hear it, he said it. Done.
