No i guess this end was better than in the novel

Obviously Sobia didn't get what she deserved but at least they didn' turn Asif into a real wehshi and a murderer

But I got to know one thing that it is not necessary ki jo bura karta hai uske saath end mai bura hi ho .

The main root cause was asif's mom in turning asif into a wehshi. She couldn't stand up for him in her brother's house (chalo assume kiya nahi karsakti thi majboor) but when she married again only for the sake of asif then how could she forget asif only ?

Isn't it lame? She only became the mother of amir.

The step dad treated asif well till his son was not with him and as soon as his son comes up he forgets asif like anything.

The drastic change in his behaviour . (Boom)

Sobia was an opportunist since the beginning , she was grey too because she has been abused as well but she was portrayed grey since the beginning when she used to create all the mess of changing schools and everything.

She fell for asif thinking that through asif she'll get what she wants. She loved him but when she came to know that asif is not the real son of majeed then she started having doubts. Her inner self tried to do what asif wanted but she was a puppet of her beloved dreams and at the end she chose to be like this by marrying amir and in the end by choosing tahir . I guess in the end she didn't knew much about asif's wealth otherwise she should have chosen asif only ( If tahir was less as compared to asif) .

In the end we all can see that asif had obsession and he just wanted sobia in the end at all means left sadaf to get back sobia but he should have realized by then that once an opportunist always an opportunist .

The ending was incomplete but sometimes endings are like this only to show the reality that not everybody repents for the mistakes they do and not everything has a happy ending.
