@bold - I think channel is ultimately responsible for how much drama will be put in the show! 😭😭Writers and makers also have their hands tied at the last thread. 👎🏼👎🏼

And ITV doesn't care about actors' opinions; because they know actors can be replaced overnight! Online audience might create a ruckus about their favorite actors being replaced; but very few shoes have shut shop when actors were replaced!

@blue - I think I said in my earlier posts, but blame EK and Gul Maata for the sad state of ITV shows today, especially EK - she dug a deep hole for all future ITV shows and producers in the early 2000s with her K shows that today all shows on ITV look the same after 50 episodes! Same kitchen politics; saas-bahu saga; women trying to pull women down!

It will take a collective effort on part of all TV producers to truly present different content on TV. One producer or one show can make their individual effort; but bringing a change needs consistent, earnest effort from all producers!

And now EK shifted to super natural shows like Naagin, which I can't stand for the life of me! 😡😡😡

I never watched even a single episode of any of her Naagin shows and will never do that in future!

my issue is with the channel/makers - whoever decides how much of drama goes into the show and how this drama is delivered. They are so stuck to the stories and methods from the past that they just refuse to let go of them. What was the need to bring a daughter into the picture - yes dev or Shantanu or Ganga have a past, but why make it so cliched.

My issue also is with the fact that they assume their viewers are idiots, and will accept whatever is thrown their way. To an extent - I am ok with the kitchen politics - it might be crass but considering the number of people involved, it can be made believable. The business issues, the regressive expectations from the raichand women - these are real issues that can be addressed well if they choose to.

Apologies for the rant - secret children are my biggest pet peeve - and in this context it makes me even more mad. Because what are the makers saying - don’t fall in love with an older guy because he might have a secret child.

I know this has been said multiple multiple times and I’m just repeating myself 🙈 the potential that is just being thrown down the drain is just making me sad. Sad on behalf of the actors and sad as a viewer.

Bold - this I wholeheartedly agree with - but the channels are directed by TRPs - which according to me is the least quantitative way to measure how successful a show is. They need to switch to different metrics and probably consider different revenue streams as well. Otherwise ITV never get out of this quicksand.

There is no appetite for innovation and trying new things, because ultimately it is all driven by money. When something has proven to work, why reinvent the wheel - this seems to be what every channel, every production house stick to. They are unwilling to give it time - the minute TRPs start dropping they switch to the age old, EK certified tactics.

Yeah true, TRP kills creativity and novel storytelling on ITV shows! Some shows start with a different storyline, but soon switch to the EK certified tactics! ITV needs to move away from TRP (which anyway is a small, skewed metric) and find come up with different ways to measure success of TV shows! Online viewership should be considered too! 🤓🤓

I skipped Monday epi, watched Tuesday March 21st epi!

My thoughts -

Priya is officially getting in my nerves - inhe Maasi ne achchi chaabi di hai, aur ye sarfiri ladki poore Ghar mein shor machaati fir rahi hai

Raichand House does not know the meaning of shaanti se baithkar baat karlo! Yahan har baat par tamasha Karna hai sabko! 😵😵 Nobody even blinks an eye that Vidhi is a new DIL in the house who is trying to do the best she can! On the contrary, she is pulled into every sticky situation in Raichand house! Feel bad for her!!

Good that Dev stood by Vidhi without batting an eyelid! 👍🏼👍🏼 So glad he gave a befitting reply to Priya and Maasi! Especially Priya - pehle khud ka Ghar and relationship sambhal lo, fir Dev and Vidhi ki chinta Karna! I feel their scene in the bedroom could have been longer, can I just get one episode with only Dev and Vidhi Didi... Pls makers, pls...

Priya is just frustrated with her life and she is distributing / gifting the same to all other members of Raichand family! After all, you can only give what you have! 🤔🤔

Yamini aunty has officially entered the zoo! Welcome honey, but if you are prone to asthma - Raichand family se bahut door raho... Yahan achche khaase logon ka sar dard ho sakta hai, aapki tabiyat to pehle se thodi naazuk hai... 😆😆

satya and dummy mausi are still talking and dummy mausi’s brainwashing fails and satya starts to feel very guilty about talking to vidhi the way she did. Dummy mausi can’t believe it dint work and walks away.

Vidhi comes with food and vidhi and satya make up.

On the other hand priya tries to make up with abhi and brings him food and abhi is like what are you up to. Priya tries to convince him to put up a United front for the family. Because dev and vidhi are taking advantage of their discord. Abhi thinks.

Next day vidhi and her mom are talking and vidhi tells her about what happened with her project and how dev stood up for her. She tells her mom that she wants to give him a gift that nobody has given him so far 🤣🤣 (we have a few ideas vidhi didi). Her mom directly jumps to baby. Vidhi is all shy shy and she thanks her mom for the great idea.

Vidhi goes to talk to dev and she hears glass break, it is divya and yamini arguing. Divya says she has to tell dev she’s his daughter - vidhi overhears and she’s stunned. Yamini tries to tell her it’s not that, but divya doesn’t want to listen. Vidhi closes the door and walks away. She is trying to process. She goes to her mom and asks her about yamini’s hubs and bims is uncomfortable and is like they got divorced coz he found out divya was not his daughter.

Vidhi still in shock walks out to mandir and is sitting there.

In the office dev asks abhi if he checked Yogesh’s accounts and abhi says he’s doing it today. Dev gets annoyed and is like why did you wait for so long. Abhi gets offended and starts his whining. Finally he tells dev that he doesn’t want to do this anymore and gives him a file and says you manage your company. Dev is stunned.
also Yogesh is cooking his books, and says nobody will find anything in my accounts.

precap - didi is in her room and she says she will only trust what the diary has. And she’s scared to read it because she doesn’t want her faith in dev to shake.

I don’t have a review, but I have a new theory now 🤣🤣I am like 99% sure divya is Shantanu’s daughter. He had an affair with yamini and Dev finds out in London and in despair drinks. Which is why he doesn’t remember anything.

the way yamini was panicking, the reveal definitely is not as silly as dev being her ex.

Show mein jo bhi ho raha ho, woh apni jagah hai... but the fact that you tune in everyday without fail to give episode updates to the forum is praiseworthy dear... 🤗🤗

It's not easy tolerating less than desired characters like Divya, Mausi, and now Yamini taking away SS from the leads - Dev and Vidhi didi...

Episode to main baad mein dekhoongi... but Maasi ka Satya ko chaabi lagane ka plan nahi chala... ye kaise hua... 🤣🤣🤣 Priya par to ekdum badiya tarike se chal rahe hain Maasi ke saare plans... 😆😆 Mausaji, pls grow a spine and take back your dharampatni to Bhopal... yahan Raichand house mein inhone kaafi raita phaila liya hai... 😵😵 poora forum kam se kam 50 episodes tak inke raito ko sambhalega... bechare Dev and Abhi ki bonding bhi kharab kardi inhone... 🥺🥺

Pathetic track ..let’s see how creatives will justify this dabba drama. I am pretty sure Amba will be shown as mastermind behind this. Absolute dabba is abhimanyu nowadays as he listen to mad mausi n affair wali bibi. He is really a waste in this track.

Priya has become a puppet now, kabhi Amba kabhi mausi 🤷🏻‍♀️ dono usko katputli ki tarah chala rahe hai, madam chal bhi rahi hai.

Her plan backfired though - I hope abhi signed the company back to dev and it was not just some random file he threw. Although it would be too easy for dev to get the company back this way.

Yamini was busy freaking out and bringing an asthma attack onto herself and basically dint say anything useful.

I fervently hope that if divya is indeed Shantanu’s daughter and dev indeed remembers he doesn’t decide to become a sacrificial lamb to save his dads face and satya’s memory of Shantanu. I am so scared that he might do this.
