For some people it is when Merab's parents didn't open the door but I always thought from that moment he felt connected to her emotionally but it wasn't exactly Love.

If we see the Director's interview there he said that Murtasim will explain what exactly is the conflict between them. And Meerab even after listenting to that will not respond to it the way she should have responded. I feel these two scenes are over. Then he said that something will happen and their relationship will get more complicated. I think village scene will be the scene which affects their relationship. Because I think pregnancy track will not have much impact, it will get cleared easily.

'Can I' was a deliberate use over 'May I'. May means asking for permission, Can means ability. Murtasim wasn't asking for permission, he has the ability to make her wear the ghajras and he damn well wasn't going to stop even if she says No.

Okay, I have a very different theory on 'Can I' and 'May I'. 😆😆

When a ML says "May I" to the FL it has great significance in Pak drama. It was done in Humsafar show 12 years back and that scene is one the most favourite and famous scene in Pak romance world. Fawad and Mahira are still known for the "May I" scene.

The same scene was in Mere Humsafar and on twitter there was a huge uproar about it ......even during IVs the director of Mere Humsafar was called this particular question.

But Mere Humsafar and Humsafar scene were almost same with dialogues.

I guess the director's didn't want a comparison with the old show.
