I dont think two days of grief is over reacting lol. Let the man grieve, he is mature enough to finish it and get back to normal. Its not like he is doing it for weeks or months, a few days is allowed. He is not like Anupama who hides feelings and lets them fester inside. Open grieving for a week is healthy

For anupama, you will still see the glimpses of better acting and chemistry with sudhanshu and baa in shah house. Its when she's with anuj, CA and kapadia mansion when her acting is off

I don't know why this is, it seems like more than script the actor herself seems more attached with the shah set and shah actors and doesn't feel that connection with new characters

You guys dont know how happy this makes me, it feels like a personal achievement…I have wished and prayed for years for this amazing guy to get his due and everytime I see a comment praising him my heart just jumps with joy!

Thanks for loving Gaurav, he deserves all the love and appreciation! He doesnt care much for the awards and these comments would mean a lot more to him.

Oh I was not much aware about the timeline. Since I fast forward the show lol. Yeah its okay to grieve for a few days, of course. But it feels a little out of character to me honestly, compared to the original Anuj. He attached himself too much to a foster child, in too little time. So much that he doesn’t even want his so-called great love that he has been harbouring since 26 years. The same woman he was romancing 3 days ago. Maybe the character is indeed obsessive, he is obsessed over that child now the same way he obsessed over Anupama.

To me it would be more powerful if Anuj grieved stoically and with his composure intact, the way he was picturised earlier. This screaming, tantrum throwing, senseless Anuj is not to my taste, but to each their own I guess. (GK is doing a fab job though)

Hmmm I didn’t notice the discrepancy. Her acting seems extremely monotonous to me in all scenes nowadays. She was great at drama and sadness but its all coming across as fake now. And off-set Rupali is quite close to GK as well as Alpana ji…but doesn’t get along well with Sudhanshu apparently.

The stoic, unemotional man is also a sexist stereotype. All research shows open grieving and letting emotions out is the best way. But men are taught to be stoic and not show emotions which is harmful. So i am glad an actor like Gauarav is helping disperse this stereotype

Also any love will die if the spouse doesn't give enough time and effort in the relationship. It doesn't matter how long someone loves someone

I have watched some clips with my mom (pre-Anuj) and found her ordinary. She was good in some scenes but overall nothing extraordinary.

GK is the only reason this track is palatable. This is the first show of his that I've watched and I liked him from day 1. He's grown as an actor too, and the last few weeks his scenes have been outstanding.

ITV rarely focuses on a father's trauma and pain so not only is this arc a novelty of sorts, it gives him the chance to explore something different on screen and that hits us hard. I like the fact that we all know Anuj's mistakes but so does he and he admits it too. That makes the whole thing way more effective because as the audience we root for a character like him who is flawed (not spotlessly mahaan) but is basically a solid good soul. I also love it that he's being expressive and that we can see every single thing he's going through, rather than him bottling things up. I don't find this behavior to be out of the blue. Events from last year have been leading up to this and he's been having CA-related arguments with Anu for a while now. This was the final straw and even then it's so clear that the civilized, gentleman side of him is able to maintain some decorum while grieving. GK shows that balance really well in the scenes, including his body language, slumped shoulder, not meeting the eyes, etc.

GK deserves so much more exposure and recognition and I know that after this show he's going to get good offers. I hope he continues to get scope to perform here.

Now that CA is gone and may never return, I wonder what else is left in his story.
